i saw the light today when parked on a slope. went to uni came back, backed out of the slope and there went the light. safely say that i saw the light hence satisfied for now that there is a light and never worry abt stallin in the middle of the road again. managed to get in 58l too...of bp ultimate today which means it is a 65l tank for sure. i get around 450 - 470 if driving normally with the occasional lead footedness when the road is wet...like today in perth...YAY only on private rds tho... heh laters

ive just put in rear speakers...pioneer 2 ways 150w.. rattles even more now and i need amps now cause with powerful jbls in front and pioneers in back, they distort quick... after alot of yanking and bleeding hands, managed to put in e new speakers and the old clarions were on the verge of extinction and ancientness... they were made of frikin paper man around the tweeters. wierd... odd design. anyone taken em out shud haf seen em. any idea why such an odd design altho sounding good when new?

craved/booster...thanks a bunch guys!! they sound fine now after havin swtiched the wires like booster said... i just played with the fader/balance to hear which speaker was makin lousy sound and i just butchered and resoldered the wire on that one..i mean switched the heads... had no intention of removing the seat and etc etc all over again and getting cuts all over esp at 10 at night so i did it thru the battery compartment in the boot and ended up spending 1 hr sittin in the boot crouched over like a duck but nevertheless, when i was done, i spent another 15 mins inside listneing to music cause it just sounded SO much better now... thanks a whole bunch guys

dudes.... this is what i heard. *i will not be held responsible on how u mess up or how this messes yr car up if u give it a go* sometimes not only does the light fill with water, it also condenses. one way is to get yr drill.. get the smallest one and drill a tiny hole at the bottom of the light. water drains out and no more misting up or any fogging of any kind lata

booster: the right side, i have the SOLID ONE with the BIG head and Striped with the small head...altho it sounds bad. no bass the left one i have it the other way round but it sounds kinda fine but is there any reason why my front might be louder than the rears? cheers guys ps: how much does it normally cost to wire in an amp and get these speakers looked at?

hey guys... i have a Alpine Deck that has 35x4 built in amp..kinda schitt but nevertheless... yearning for better sound sometime back, i removed the stupid crossovers in the front and the old spkrs and etc...and now i have wired the deck straight to the speakers...i have JBL 3way 125w speakers. in the rear was running the std clarion that came with the skyline till today... when i removed it, i realized that they didnt have the normal small head big head kinda thing...instead they were like a switch or plug or something.. so i unplugged it...chopped off the plug... and got the big/small heads frm my new speakers, rolled em up together and soldered it down.. just wondering tho, is there any difference between wrongly soldering? meaning.... negative terminal frm the deck now goes into the positive in the deck..meaning ive soldered the wrong head to the wrong cable? possible? what effects does it have? how will i know thats the problem? now the sound at the back ,treble and all sounds fine(they are 2 way 150w pioneer's). bass is totally small and tinny and crap.. smoethin should be wrong cause i had these pioneers in the front before i bought thr JBL's and they were great. and now the back sounds real soft and the front louder..and sounds frm the front sound kinda messed up too... i didnt know which wire to use and etc cause the colors were odd... the left speaker in the rear, there is one LIME GREEN WIRE. PURELY LIME GREEN. - i connected this to the small head. then a YELLOW WIRE with a black stripe. i connected this to the BIG head. on the RIGHT SIDE, i have a PURE ORANGE wire. i connected this to the big head. and a ORANGE with a black stripe...connected this to the small head. any problem here? is there anything wrong that could be messing up the sound ALL over?

what i meant is i fill up till the thing clicks and the tank is on the verge of overflowing... mind u, 65l is prob frm the last drop... i never even had e chance to see the light alto i might try this time cause my gas is low once again. eveytime i try, i freak out. so with the needle on the e line, i fill around 55... so i guess it works out...

for CURIOUSITY SAKE...PURELY for CURIOUSITY SAKE... is there anyway we can cheat or avoid multinova's other than "NOT SPEED".. =P. just wondering...besides that spray already avail in the eastern states and so on... im sure alot of ppl would be interested to know, once again, purely for curiousity and educational purposes. heh

Proton Putra is basically a 93onwards -96 or 97 if im not mistaken Mitsubishi Lancer Coupe. runs a 1.8 4G93 engine capable of some prettie impressive powers. i drove one back in KL...heh.. liked it tho it was an auto.... alot of ppl in malaysia, as skylines are not readily or cheaply available, buy this car or another called proton satria, also a mitsubishi this time a colt/mirage and put in 4G63 engines. turbocharged it and they make quite impressive times too

how do i know if i have it guys? i can see the outline of what seems to be a hicas light on e dash but it never have even lit up before. my mechanic told me that some cars have hicas and it doesnt light up when starting or ever unless theres a failure or sumfin sumfin any easy identifiable way to find out?

i have a big ricey RG Racing Gear emblem kinda metal plate there and that gets brown...not the paint of my bumper...works a treat cause it cleans easily n e zorst can get pretty damn hot after a long day of driving ay

hmm...not sure...but if i drive till around where the E line is, the needle EXACTLY on the line at the E...yet no light, i can fill up to around 50 bucks. with around 98c per litre. i can go for close to 480ks driving like a nana...if not then its around 420. why?

hey all i haf a 94 r33 Gts...and i fill up on bp ultimate... the prob is...even when my car runs around 430kms already on a full tank and the needle is just touchingt the line at e... no warning light comes up? it freaks me out cause then i dont know how much ic an push it is there a warning lightand WHEN is it supposed to come out?

guys.... my rear panel shelf vibrates like a b*tch even tho i dont haf subs or an amp. i have jbl fronts now and the std clarions in the rear. intending to remove the clarions and put in pioneers... how do i remove e speakers behind? how do i remove the seat if indeed thats what i gotta take out first? thnkas a bunch guyssss:p

heh...i have it too...seat belt indicator ay? hmm...but there are no lights in the meter cluster that could possibly even be remotely close to a seat belt warning light could there? i mean when u put yr key in position 1, on starting, its supposed to light all lights and etc..but there is no seat belt warning light? heh thanks guys

there are rolls and rolls of these sound deadening sheets..... avail on websites...there is a thread already in the car audio section. have a check. basically u buy it, check its weight...then remove yr door panels, rear seat, shelf and etc and stick em all over... was gonna do it sometime before but the dang credit card just wouldnt cross... sigh...gotta wait till dat bill gets paid but if u get it done good , lemme know how it goes ay... cheers

hmm...dat odd... they told me it was kewl IF it was not a turbo...for a turbo...shd be over 21.. or 25...not sure but im 18..payin 2600 for comprehensive insurance with HBF and they give u an option to pay by mnths too... im pretty sure...heh the next time they tell u no, ill fax u my policy n u fax it to them heh =)
