R34 Gtr Workshop Manual
Turbo Piston replied to GT-5732's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
So its for all R34s? I thought tha manual was just for the R34 GT T -
I would suggest to try some ones elses coils first. I had a miss firing problem, I tried the coils, didnt fix it, yet I still got charged for them. Anyway, in the end for me it was a leak in the gaskets. Run a smoke test through your valves and see if there are any leaks. Soon as I sorted my gaskets out, the car was so smooth again

R34 Gtr - New Clutch
Turbo Piston replied to Turbo Piston's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
Ok, lets rewind! Sorry I read all the posts but I was in a hurry. Now I have gone though them again. So sounds like the Nismo one is the way to go, I never thought they would be so expensive! With the nismo one, do I have to replce the dual mass fly wheel? No mods needed with the Nismo one right? Lets just say my clutch jas been changed b4, and the dual mass fly wheel has been removed, is it easy to buy another one and place it back in? With this rattle, is it quite loud? -

Tuned R34 V R35
Turbo Piston replied to sampek's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
If you have the money get the R35 GTR and leave it stock. No need to worry about anything, and you have the performance. Yuo buy an R34 GTR, you begine to modify it, things will start to go wrong, shake, rattle etc. It's part of the modifying game. In the end you will spend close to 100K playing witht he R34, might as well go the R35 with no headaches. Thats my point of view. -
370z Vs R34 Gtr - Test Drove The 370z Today
Turbo Piston replied to Turbo Piston's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Yea try it man Just realised why it was making such a nice loud nice when I was going down gears. It's that syncho rev match thing they have! -
Hey guys, Today I finally got the chance to test drive the Nissan 370z, after following it for so long since concept stage, was great to see it in person! I think it looks good and the power figures looked decent on paper too. I took it for a drive around Manly and found a nice little close street that had a straight and a dead end to allow me to test the power on the straight and the handling. The moment I put my foot down, you could feel the torque and as it climbed past 5k RPM you could really feel it pull hard. The engine is loud, and I'm not exagerating, but sounds almost ferrari loud from inside the cabin. I was on third gear and shifted down to second and it made a sexy deep groan tone as the car slowed down. I can't explain it. The engine just sounded great! Obviously not as loud as a ferrari, never been in one, but my point is, that it'ss loud, but a nice rich engine sound. After I drove it, I jumped in my GTR and did the exact same laps. My girlfriend and I still believe that the 370z pulled harder than the GTR, but the GTR feels slightly better when coming out of a corner and accelerating. Feels firmer on the ground. I think the car is great, great looks, great interior and the engine noise was awesome When they turned the car on, it was so quite I was immediately dissapointed. It wasnt until I let it open up a little bit that the real engine roar began!

R34 Gtr Air Intake Question
Turbo Piston replied to Turbo Piston's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
If I get a radiator shroud! -
Hey guys, Im wondering about the section that connects to the standard air box through the passengers side (the guard). There is a section there that looks like a tear drop when taken out. It's like a secondary air funnel besides the main one that goes to the front of the car. This one is on the side and connects to the guard of the car. I was told that that plastic bit (teardrop) actually pops out? I thought it was one piece? Can you pop it out?

-
Even if you put 100k as a deposit? I doubt it?

Do nissan provide a financing service where you can lease the car? I don't know much about this field at all. I was reading the other thread and did a calculation and somehow i ended up with 1,000 a month. And if thats the case, I will get one! Unless I stuffed up along the way.
