  1. Hey peeps, Im doing a r33 turbo install on my NICS Rb20det soon. As im sure you know the NICS ECU does not handle fueling too well and almost nobody can EPROM them so.... I will be needing some form of tuning mod, so i was wondering if you think i should go the SAFC and EBC route or go for a Wolf3d V4? Costing of the components looks to be about the same but obviously the actual wolf install is going to cost a bit more. any comments/recommendations/opinions would be appreciated also any suggestions on who to get to do the install of both turbo and wolf? cheers
  2. Anyone have one of these lying around they are wishing to part with for some spendoolies? need one to do a r32 - r33 turbo conversion live in perth so will pick up with cash let me know via email: [email protected]
  3. Hey ppls, I am chasing an R33 turbo coolant line, the one that goes behind the engine and up against the firewall, (the rear one). I dont need the banjo bolt on the turbo side. Will pay all postage costs. Please email me [email protected]
  4. would love to know the price also?
  5. Guys, i dont have any ties to this business whatsoever just thought i would pass on some info to ppl interested in DIY cooler piping: I was in the hunt for some cheap 2" mandrel bent stainless bends, a mate suggested Allbend Engineering, as they have a huge assortment which are awesome for cooler work, in the end it cost me $120 for heaps of 90 and 45 bends as well as some straight lenghts. Those guys are pretty cruisy, just work out what u need then head there and rummage through their collections (its getting a little smaller ). They are located just of Selby street in Osborne park, i think the correct address is 8 Burgay Court
  6. i dont mind removing the hose myself but the line itself isnt just hose clamped on. Its actually in a brass crimped fitting. So i need to find a place that will be able to remove or replace fitting and line. Thats why I think pirtek or hosemasters might be the go for this one.
  7. Hey guys, i need my top power steering pump line replaced as it has a major leak! Any suggestions (SOR preferrable) to have this done? Pirtek, hosemasters? Thanks
  8. Hey ppls, I know this might be the wrong place to post this but more suitable as im looking for this in Perth, Chasing a set of cheap 16 or 17" rims and tyres. Stock r32 or 33 rims perferrable but will take almost anything to fit nissan 5 stud. Prefer rims with tyres but will consider without. Reply to: [email protected] Thanks
  9. im not being rude, just there was no need for you to be!
  10. Alloy is a mix of metals, eg 90% alluminum, 10% other metal Alluminium is simply 100% alluminium
  11. Thanks for the info guys. So do u think Coventry's will stock it or try somewhere else? are they ok for 10psi? are they audible? am open to offers for cheap BOV if anybody has one to spare? ta
  12. Tig does alloy, stainless and allumunium
  13. hey pplz, I am chasing a Bosch Bov and i was just wondering if anybody knew the Bosch product number/code for this. I went into Coventry's but the guys there had no idea of what it was lol. Then they started looking through their Bosch electrical books even though i stated it wasnt electrical. I am pretty sure they came out stock on some of the Saab turbos (gasp), i mentioned this and they said to go to a saab dealer lol. Thanks.
  14. pics to [email protected] so now it has 2nd hand g/box what price r u asking?
  15. Hey guys, I posted a thread couple weeks back asking if anyone knew where i could get some alloy welding done. After going to several exhaust shops i was starting to get frustrated that none of them had a tig to do this, i would have thought most would but im guessing they just use argon in their migs instead. Anyway, i eventually located a shop on Oats St, Just off Orrong Road, its called M & D Auto Engineering. The guys there is a top bloke, i showed him what i needed to be welded to my compressor outlet and he did a fantastic job, neat welding and even sandblasted the whole pipe for me, seeing as it was caked in crap i was very thankful of this. He charged next for nothing for this too, i was suitably impressed. Just thought its a good idea to give credit where credits due.
  16. Hey Guys, I need some TIG welding done on my turbo compressor outlet pipe for a BOV fitting. Nothing too heavy but the pipes alloy so finding someone with a TIG to do the work has proved harder than expected. Ive been to a few zorst shops but all of them so far have not had a TIG, and have suggested taking it to a machine shope or engineering firm, pfft as if, the would charge me two arms a leg and a kidney. So i was wondering if anyone here can either suggest a zorst shop to do it (i havnt tried Morley Quik Fit yet) or if someone here has access to a TIG and can do it id prefer to pay them Thanks Replies to [email protected]
  17. Hey guys, i know this should be in the for sale/wanted section but WA seems more relevant im chasing either a full set of stock r32 or r33 rims or a pair of these with tyres must be 5 stud if 32, 32's are preferable over 33's but either will do Tyres need only be just legal some cheap 17"s would be suitable also will pick up anywhere in perth replies to [email protected] ta
