  1. Oooh, snow mode The car i drive daily has that. Turning it on, gunning it, then turning it off has some cool results And yeah, what a time to be adjusting, just as the heavens open up. Ah well, no time like the present hey If it's a '96 model, then the M-spec doesn't really apply. That was more of a Series 1 thing. Once again welcome. Have to come to the next meet... if one of us can be bothered organising something, and the rest can be bothered to show up.
  2. Hey John! Welcome to the Forums! Give us a little bit of information about the car, what colour, mods, etc.
  3. Spotted Leigh on his way home at around 5:30 on the Monaro Hwy. On the wrong side of the road, so no point waving. Also while at Calwell Servo tonight at about 10:30, two Skylines, one an R33, white R33 GTSTt with 400R front i believe, and an R32 GTR with Chrome wheels. Also half a Skyline, in that they were also with the RB20 powered BMW
  4. Indeed it does give everyone a bad name. Now, i can't say i'm a perfect driver, far from it, i drive a bit nutty sometimes, but nothing blatently stupid or wreckless.
  5. See how we pull up hey
  6. Yeah they're still open, and a great idea for track days i guess
  7. Gotta bring it down to the gutter don't you Stirlo.
  8. We're asshole magnets Must be karma, man
  9. Here's another Amaru and I got ourselves into. At a petrol station, pull in behind a car that's filling up and wait for him to finish. The car we're waiting for finishes before the car in front of it, and instead of waiting, decides to put the car in reverse, and start revving the engine. Amaru and I wait, thinking he'll give up, til he starts backing up on us and getting close to my sisters car, which we were in at the time. So rather than risk damae to the car, we back up and let him out, but on his way back, he has to perform a 5 point turn to negotiate the small gap in between pumps and other cars. In which time, the car in front of him has moved. All we could do was shake our heads. And the previous one we referred to, we had pulled out of a side street, and started heading towards the round-a-bout down the road. Not getting to the speed limit of 80kmh and only getting to 60kmh, having to slow down anyway, the car that followed us from the side street has caught up, and is now inches from my rear bar. We indicate left and start to turn, but no before i realise that the car behind us is being a smart ass and tryed to push in down the left....of a ONE lane round-a-bout...so we swing down the side road in the right hand lane as there are road works on the lft hand side, as the road works finish, we indicate, and start to move over, but not before the other car has already tryed to move down the left. Now they're REALLY angry, and boon past us on the right, before slamming on the brakes, locking them up, and cming diagonally across us into the left lane, and almost up the back of a car waiting at the next intersection. We both turn left again, and they stop, mid corner, and then floor it off, then stop again, holding up traffic, then hoon off again. The whole time Amaru and i are giggling our asses of, they are just getting even more angry. Gotta say, never been in a really worrying experience....yet, mostly just stupid shit like these ones. Stay safe all, and sorry for the long read.
  10. They're a fantastic tyre. My fronts are okay, my rears are shot though. I never expected to get 12 months out of them, so 14 was great Great wet weather tyre as well, MAD big grooves running through them. Edit: Here's the tread pattern:
  11. I so did nothing wrong, i was obeying the law....to the letter
  12. I use Falken ST115s, and i'd definitely buy them again. They've lasted 12 months and still have some life left in them. The fronts are still grippy as, while the rears, almost on the wear indicator, are just starting to slip. I payed $490 a corner for them from The Wheel Factory in Queanbeyan, and would be taking my car back there again, if Quikfit hadn't of taken them over. But we'll see what happens when i purchase again soon. EDIT: Forgot to include tyre size is 265/35/18 on my car, thus the pretty $$$y figure.
  13. Said wanker from Amaru's and my own story above had their kids in the car also, with the wife going rank at us while the hubby behind the wheel tryed to steer his boat after the GTR.
  14. Oh yeah! That was awesome A GTR diving in and out of traffic, followed by a Kingswood PUSHING his way through traffic. Always wondered what would have happened if he had of caught us....
  15. He wanted your supple young body Andrew Damn, good to hear you survived though.
  16. Yeah, we've all been busy/tired/forgetful. Time for another big meet. Plenty of notice, and a day the majority have off.
  17. What the hell was happening there? People everywhere...a car on a jack... 2 Police cars...
  18. Several spotteds today. Silver Series II R33 in Tuggeranong around....uh...2ish i guess. Got a big wave out the window, which i happily returned. Silver R33 GTR heading down the hill to Lanyon at abour 5pm, saw it too late to give a wave, was behind a truck or something. And lastly, a Wine Red R33 with charcoal/dark wheels on the Monaro just after 5pm.
  19. I'm working til 6. I'll give someone a call when i finish. See if there's anything still going on.
  20. Lol, i thought that might have been you Yeah, the VL....man, how much of a loser flyby did he give us
  21. Damn....TourerV... Nice Powatone did a good job on my last car, and they were pretty good blokes too. However have heard mixed reactions about them lately. City Exhaust have done some really nice work with intercooler piping on some car's i've seen, so maybe them as well. Good luck with it, and hopefully we'll hear the car coming from now on so there's time to turn and gawk at one of the rarer imports
  22. Other side to where we;re parked.
  23. Here's the R33 i am speaking of. It's for sale too, mint car, looks spectacular. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/at...achmentid=23039
  24. They don't. They don't come with a massive intercooler filling the front bar either
  25. What do i see this morning in the work carpark? Our resident Bayside Blue R33
