Thanks chris just tried it and its true the boot does open. Once of my neon lcd is broken how can i fix it ?

there is wires up on top of the dash where the HUD is . Also what about my key why dont i have a boot release on it

yeah it did the same thing. I thought i had some feature that when i leave the car it automatically wines the windows up. That would have been cool. Another question on my key i have 3 buttons one to un-lock one to lock and another one with a picture of a lock with two lines. Does that mean i dont have a boot release remote button.

The panasonic unit under the seat says PANASONIC CAR NAV UNIT MODEL NUMBER CN-HD900. Its also has a flip out panel to display a sd card slot. Can i stick something in there to play music and maybe oz navigation ? Does anyone know why the windows even tho fully up make a noise when i close the doors ? The dvd player in the glove box works fine too.

THANKS The first picture the panasonic unit is located under the seat i might see if there is a model number and google it. I do have a HUD which works great. I also do have a tv unit i have got sbs channel a few times. What do you mean override? The thing on top of the steering column i believe is a bluetooth but how do i get it to work?

recieved car yesterday everything all good but costed me over $35,000 for 2003 v35 6m preimum

Just recieved my car today after 2 and a half months after purchasing it. To be honest i paid over $35,000 for it in the end. The extra's im happy with is the impul chip the fijitsubo exhuast system (sounds quiet until about 35000> rpms) recaro seats , the advan 151c 19" wheels , reversing camera which is up under the licence plate which i like. The alarm which i took a photo of works perfectly. It even starts the car when in neutral saves me having to go outside and warm it up . But i have a few things i have no idea what they do. The pictures are below so any help would be great. I think the thing sitting on top of the steering column is a blue tooth can i get it to work here. The green swicth near the boot release i havent a clue and the same with the red button. The garmon thing i think it has something to do with the remote but it has wires running from the back seat to the unit pictured and then wire that leads to the cig lighter. With the alarm force F2000 is that australian approved or will i have to take it out ? Also i want the side mirrors to fold down so i can see the gutter where is the switch for that !! Thanks guys in advance.

Im really fussy and it looks really nice. Maybe need those clear indicators tho .

Before i purchased the car the broker informed them about the extra's (exhaust, ecu , wheels) we didnt have any idea there was neon's under the car . The compliance workshop in sydney said that's fine yes yes no worries so il see what happnes. The good news is the car is suppose have finished being complied and just waiting for some plates / documents from canberra. Hopefully monday or tuesday. Im very curious to see what they think they are going to charge me .

What actually happened was , when i saw the car i asked the broker if it would be a problem and he asked the compliance shop and they said no its fine. And now that the car is here they are saying no ,no ,no. My broker has been great and he also imported another v35 himself. So they are changing the parts with my car and then putting them back on apparently. Are the neon allowed thru compliance i wonder if they ahve to be taken off too ? Im paying $2,500.00 for compliance well im hoping is that the average price not ?

hey , I brought my car on 18/09/2008 . I still havent got it yet and waiting for some approval from canberra. I paid 1,744,000. It's a silver v35 2003 6 speed manual. It's got a few extra's including 19" advan 151c wheels (HOT ?!) , Fijitsubo exhaust , impul ecu (whatever that is ) , rear camera , recaro seats , HUD (Heads up display) , and sexy neon lights under the car and aftermarket panasonic dvd player . And its a preimum too , so brembo's etc. I didnt transfer the money into the bank until 29/09/2008 and the exchange rate was 86.80 i lost 2 yen for some reason with the bank. The problem im having is that i have to bring the car back to standard condition which is a joke taking of things and putting them back on. According to the shop i should have the car next week . But no idea how much the compliance is suppose to be costing i got a quote of $2,500.00 but i think its going to be much more!!

My car is finished compliance apparently , just waiting now for some plates and paperwork from canberra . Not sure what it is . I havent been give a quote yet and i was told there are "issues" with the impul ecu. And i need tyres 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 . Lucky me

Whats avgas , and what does it do

I have that high powered ECU in my car thats getting complied , what does it do and what good is it. I'm having a feeling the petrol here will be a problem for me.

Yes that looks like the xeon and they dont look cut your lucky. Is your car auto or manual how much did you end up paying for it , if you dont mind . I am awaiting my car still and they cut my xeon looms and also had to change the fijitsubo exhaust and the wheels , etc to standard . I didnt have a easy time importing the car myself.

Im not really concerned that much about money value just handling and wear. I have never been a fan of falken . For some reason always like the brands like pirelli , michelin and yokohama. Has anyone used the yokohama AVS im looking at getting a pair in 245/35/19 for $600 pretty good deal i think.

I have no idea what you mean by stretch . I dont know the size of the rim either . But a few people have said falken tyres seems to be ok for the money. So you think the 235/45/19 would fit ok on these wheels
