Yes full volume on deck and full volume on iphone. I found out the problem is with my phone as i tried with another iphone and it works perfectly. I recommend this option for anyone who wants to spend $10-$15 to play music from your iphone / ipod to your car.

10kw for that kind of money. Maybe i might look into something else then. Im going to take it to silverwater automotive and see what they saythey can do with the impul ecu . Thanks for the head up with the speedo and rev limiter i might actually give it a go sometime.

Hi and thank you for your help. It does have an option fof playing side a and side b which i tried. I also made sure the aux end is all the way into the iphone and it is, i have no idea whats wrong im going back to the store tomorrow for some advice. I would like to know how to check to see if the problem isnt my tape deck.

I wasnt aware if i got a halteck its against the law . And im thinking if i do get the impul ecu tuned il fork out the $1k and be done with it. With the halteck for $1600 im adding extra's i dont want to do too much extra to the car and then il be wasting the impul. Can i send it to japan and they tune it and i get it back i have contacts there ? i think it will only costs a few hundred dollars im sure heaps of tuner in jap know what to do

what mods have you done with it ? Have you tested it to see if it does what its suppose to do ? i.e increase the rev limiter and speedo . If I change it to the haltech or e-manage what results will i get and what should i be expecting to pay. I dont want to do anything further just an extra 10-15kwrw is all i need.

I dont want to spend 100's of dollars just to play music in the car when the tape should do the same thing for $15 . I would prefer burning the music onto cd and putting them into the car , i thought this option for $15 yeah il give it a try. So nobody knows why the music isnt loud ? Could there be a problem with the tape deck i dont have any tapes to test it

I rang pulse racing today. Paul there suggested using an interceptor called halteck or halatek which will set me back $1600 ? Who knows what that is . I might just stick with the impul and see what happens at silverwater.

So i brought the car it came with full fujitsubo exhaust recaro seats , 19 "advan 151C chrome wheels , impul ecu and a few bits and pieces. I brought the k&n filter , carbon fibre z-tube and the motordyne spacer and got them installed. Did i feel much increase ? If i did its not enough. So doing some minor research i workouted the best gains im going to get out of this is to get a re-tune. Now to find someone to re-tune a IMPUL ecu , is a headache and a half . So i call pj at powertune . no idea try silverwater automotive. Called silverwater The guy seems helpful enough says bring it down and if i can re-tune it for you , should be looking at about a gain of 20kws . How much is that going to costs me i ask ? Around $1100. So im thinking $1100 for a gain of 20kws , il pay that. But my question is others of you out there have the impul ecu , what have you's done with it. Did you find a tuner to tune it. If so what did they charge ? Is $1100 the going rate for a tune. Is there any other options i have maybe spending the money towards something else and getting better results?? I dont want to turn back time 20kws suits me fine . Whats everyone else doing to get a little more from their V's ??

Guy i went into jaycar and brought a $15 cassette tape that plugs into the tape deck and the other end into my iphone the guys says the music i have stored on my iphone will play thru the car speakers. So i plug it in and press the tape into the deck and full volume sound very very fussy and faint music. Any ideas ?

Yeah so finally got the spacer k&n drop in filter and the cf z-tube put in today. After the first take off i thought yeah the car feels lighter. But then after about 30mins driving it felt the same. The sound really sounds the same as well its hardly noticeable. But what im thinking and hoping is like you said maybe it takes time for the ECU to learn with the new mods on. But im also thinking because i have this ECU is it a learning one and how do i re-set the damn thing. yes on the pro concept website it says free ecu scan with every minor service. As for the filter and tube like i said no idea , i put petrol in and go .

Spoke to josh today at pro concept. Very nice guy easy to talk to. I was suprised at the prices he quoted me. He quoted $190-$260 for a minor service depending on the oil And for the install for the spacer / filter / z-tube was $120 So all up under $400 for everything i guess thats not too bad for a good professional job. Also any minor service includes a free ecu scan so i get that too.

how much do you think pro concept is going to charge ?? I send a email enquiry away to josh a week ago and got nothing back .

Right guys this is what i need. I have the spacer /z-tube / k&n drop in filter. I need those installed. I also havent done any kind of a service on my car and its nearly at 70,000. I can supply the parts unless you can get them cheaper . All i need is some one who knows our cars and cares about our cars to install everything i have. Im in sydney and can travel to your door. Not sure how long it would take but i guess if u have the right tool and enjoy working under the hood this is for you. Personally i spill the oil when trying to top it up so its not my field. Im willing to pay so PM your quotes and il get back to ya.

Well i have been driving around town just keeping it short sorta hoping for it to do it again and it did. I had the VDC switched OFF and i have discovered whilst the car in not level the slip light comes on and a definate grinding sound from the front of the car. I think my only option is to take it to nissan , unless you guys can tell me a cheaper option ?

Excellent , thanks just what i needed to know. I did go for a shortr drive last night and i had the VDC switched off and didnt have a problem , but i didnt push too hard. Then when i stopped and then started the car again i drove off and the VDC OFF light wasn't lite on the dash so im ashumming it automatically turns back on when you re start the car. And the before 100m i had the same problem , slip light came on and the car wouldnt give power and bad noises from somewhere. Why cant i just drive the car with the VDC OFF all the time. Is there any damage or could i do any more damage driving it? The lube mobile guy didnt have a clue or where to plug in the computer for help !!

My tyres are 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 rear . So i think the problem is electrical not mechanical because it's not doing it all the time.

Gear change is all good. And the problem is my IMPUL ecu doesn't have the dianogitics so how can the lube mobile guy or nissan find the fault?? I think what i need to know has something to do with the VDC . Like how does it stop power from getting to the wheels and how can i take it out. Maybe the sensor is playing up

Yes i mean the VDC button. Do you know when the car slip light comes on and stops power from going to the wheels. I think this button even when the wheels are spinning the power is still going to the wheels , kinda like a override switch. What is synchro problems? My car seems to be ok now i might go for another run around and see what i can hear.
