  1. Not really much of an update. Dad ended up buying a Navara from work so my car got pushed outside and now lives under here: So working on the car in SA's shit weather makes it harder these days. Bought some braided hose and speedflow fitting from Ev at G7 and a new 6 puck heavy duty pressure plate with a sprung button disk from Ben at Bursons! Cheers boys. Currently taking off the cam overs and catch can to have the weld on fittings welded on and then off to my painters to have them painted up black! Hoping it will dress up the engine bay a little bit more. Also going to get one of these to help it look a little more appealing: http://www.justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=20015&cat=328&page=1 Also will be ordering some of these in the next couple of days: http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/PSDC06D/23-4148 The Mrs and myself are currently looking at houses so we will probally be buying by the end of the year, hoping i will have a shed or a large garage to work on this. I have pretty big plans to strip it down to a shell, doors and interior and go crazy on it. So i will save up for rego and a tune and after winter ill bang the clutch in and get a tune until i can afford injectors and the turbo.
  2. How long have you been running the clutch? Pm me a price im interested if you can post and aren't wanting my right arm haha. Adam
  3. Chasing a RB20DET silvertop flywheel in good condition! Let me know what you have got via pm. Cheers Adam
  4. A Black 34GTR followed me up Grrenhill road (the last part near balhannah) On Thursday around 3.30. Looked nice.
  5. kitto 1:21.89 (30ET Aus 4 door) I believe Kittos time was done with a 200kw RB20DET with semi slicks at skyline nationals. But i could be wrong. Good luck i will be watching this thread. Deffs need abit of chassie strength so maybe a rollcage and extra bracing.
  6. Im locted in SA so is a fair hike unless you wanna fly over? haha Hopefully be able to look at it early next week and ill see how i go!
  7. Higher post count doesn't mean you have a bigger penis just so you know! I think that's why you keep on bumping this thread up right?
  8. I will have to try the above posts soon and see what come up with! johnnilicte i kind of get what you are saying but with my lack of electoral knowledge it makes it harder haha. I would imagine the HR would have an existing relay for the fuel pump but as i have wired in this relay for the factory computer, i no have wires that i don't know what to do with! As you can see I'm not up to speed with electoral work atm .
  9. Been thinking tonight about this i havent wired the car just yet just seeing if it would work in other peoples thoughts? Would this be pretty much the same as hard wiring the fuel pump, as i had to wire in a relay to start with because 31's arent the same ecu setup as a 33? Currently: With out the relay: Thoughts? Adam
  10. I'm new to wiring so i feel pretty silly asking questions haha. As far as i know the r31 fuel pump is earthed through the fuse box and the r33 is with the ecu that's why i had to wire in a relay. So this is how the relay is wired in atm and i wired it with the help of the above link: The relay has to come out so what do i wire to what or where? Is there a way i can get away with out the fuel pump priming all the time johnnilicte? If someone could give me a step by step i would be over the moon. Sorry to be a pain in the ass! Cheers guys.
  11. pretty keen ay! My car will be up and running by late this year so its a possability! But wouldnt go half as hard as you do though haha
  12. I wired it up from this: http://wiki.r31skylineclub.com/index.php?title=Wiring_an_RB25DET_into_an_R31 But as it is used with stock computers i guess it would work fine! Been a aftermarket computer it probally witches the fuel pump on and off differently? Ill have a closer look and post up what i find. Cheers
  13. After the adventures of my car not shutting down: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/365322-rb25det-wont-shut-down/ I ended up giving up for a little while and received a power fc today! My problem is the fuel pump doesn't stop priming it never done this with the standard computer just didn't shut down, and now with the power fc installed it has fixed the shutting down issue but this one has arose. Any ideas? Tune on the current ecu? The RB25DET is a S2 and was a auto. I had to add a relay so the fuel pump could shut off when i first installed it. Just seems weired that all of a sudden it has started playing up Cheers
  14. Not too sure but i just plugged in my power fc and the car turns on and off with out any trubbles now! Just the fuel pump keeps on priming though. One thing after another haha!
  15. I still have to come and watch you drive this thing! Looks like it does it with ease. Good work Mark looks like you had a ball with no dramas! Good to see my old canon is still going
  16. What type of injectors do you have? aftermarket or oem? if aftermarket what brand and cc? Cheers
  17. Have you got any pics of the ones you have not a picture off the net?
