yeah, i had a look at mine the other day and after about 5-6 mins of normal driving it was up to 1/2 then i gave it a bit of a thrashing and it stayed at a half, is that normal of is it busted?

i don't suppose the 33 susp would fit an r32???

yeah man there is a wire you can cut to get rid of the speed limiter cant remember which one, do a search. i installed one of the greddy full auto timers afew weeks ago the wire you need is a (yellow/green, i think, check the pin out diagram for your ecu) that is on the bottom half of the ecu pin outs. They are a great timer i am very happy with mine.

Just bought a bride Brix seat and rail this arvo, i went into the dealership that i bought my car from, to get the lock nut key (they forgot to give it to me) and i saw a Bride brix seat and rail in the warehouse. It is not in very good condition but it is complete with rail. I asked how much they wanted for it and the guy said $100 (i was very surprised, and started to think they didn't know what it was worth) so i started to tell them that it was ripped and was missing some padding and told them i would give them $70, and after a while they agreed. A Bride Brix seat and rail (the rail is off a s13 so only 3 of the 4 bolts line up) for only $70, im stoked!!!!!

no you can sort of see a hint of the 33 in the back (with the wing) but i think you have also probably worked a bit to hard

On a standard r32 how much should the boost 'taper off' as the rev's get into the higher region (5700+). mine drops off quite a bit on the stock gauge it drops from about 600mm/hg to about 400mm/hg between 5500 and 6500 rpm.

i paid $18,000 for mine about 2mths ago and it is stock with a nice set of wheels. I paid the extra because i would rather get a good example rather than one with afew mods that has been cained around a drift track over there. If you do this then you also have the fun of modding it any way you want and knowing the mods have been done to a high quality (i also enjoy working on my car). that is my opinion anyway. if you get it i hope you enjoy, otherwise good luck in hunting down another one.

yeah there are such things they fall under the 'non lethal weapons' catagory. The US cops were trying a device that looked similar to a shoe box on wheels, that was shot out from under the front their car, and designed to go under the car they were chasing and discharge an EMF powerful enough to fry the ECU and chips in the car. There is only one problem with this, just imagine if the person in the car has a pacemaker!

yeah got it figured, it senses the alternator voltage changes and determined RPM from there.

I just bought a Trust full auto turbo timer, and in the instructions, it says it sets the run time dependant on the engines RPM, this sounds good but there is no connection or wires that connect to the RPM signal. I am thinking that the voltages it receives in the ignition connector must vary on a linear scale dependant on RPM, does this sound right? There is the normal ignition wires, a speedo one and the manditory handbrake connector, and a connector it says is only to be used in JAPAN called a 'shift lock release unit' (which i am assuming has something do do with an AUTO transmission) any help about how it gets the rpm signal, or what a 'shift lock release unit' is would be much appreciated.

oh well makes for some disscussion, anyways.

I just got a TRUST turbo timer with attack mode and auto count down, and being the uneducated fool that I am, I cant read Japanese, can anyone help me out by telling me the colours of the speed and REV's signal's, thank you.

nah man it say's on the dial X100 mm/hg that is millemeters of mercury @ 0 deg. check out the conversion site listed above.
