I had a 2ltr 180sx and now have a r32 GTS-T, while the 180 nwas faster in a straight line it is not as good a car. Near where i used to live there is an old quarry with fairly winding roads (great fun) and through there the 180 always felt a little 'twitchy' but the skyline loves it, can probably go about 10-15kph faster thru there in the skyline without feeling unsafe.

what cond is the front pipe in, dents/rust. what are you interested in trading for it?

cool thanks guys assuming 'just on' is no less than 4 and no more than 5 it is sitting between 7.7-9.6psi or 0.533-0.666bar. is this normal for an R32 with no mods?

mine does not have the clear front indicators, or the blue dials, spose nothing is hard and fast for Jap imports, there will always be inconsistancies.

does any one know if the speedo is linear after going past the 180 mark? i am guessing it would be but just making sure.

does anyone know what the conversion from mm/hg (millimeters of mercury or what ever) to PSI or BAR is. there is a post at the moment where a guy is saying that 7mm/hg is about 14 PSI but i don't think so cause my 32 needle sits just on +7 and it does not have a bleed valve or boost control. thank you.

So the older ones have blue dash and newer ones don't, mine is supposedly (from dealer) a 93 type-m

no definatly not, it was about window hight off the ground when it went passed our car, and very much dead, would have done alot of damage if it had hit the windscreen. The only crash i have ever had was when i was coming back from work @ about 1:00 in the morning and a roo jumped out of a drainage ditch on the side of the road and landed right in front of my TX3, the bonnet flipped up and smashed the window and the car was written off, didn't even see the roo before it hit it just happens so fast sometimes!

so what do the brakes on a type-m look like i was told mine is a M but to look at the brakes on the outside of the disk only have two pots but i thought that on the inside of the disk there were another two! does anyone have a pic of the 4pot's?

mine is a r32 and the std boos gauge on mine goes almost all the way to +7

All I can say is "that was to close" driving on the Hume highway from Sydney to Canberra on friday afternoon, when we were almost taken out by a huge ass truck. I was in the right hand lane and doing 120kph, and he was in the left doing about 100kph. I was about 5 meters behind him and gaining when all of a sudden he swerved over blocking both lanes with the wheels locked up. I jumped on the brakes and swerved over off the right hand side of the road (getting both wheels onto the grass) when a large Border Collie came flying up out of under his back wheels missing us by about 50cm. I can understand trying to miss a dog but when you endanger the lives of other people on the road it is beyond a joke. I am very glad my Skyline had as good a brakes as it does on it might have ended far worse.

Had an RS2000, with twin webbers, quick rack steering, lowered, wide rims and a 2 1/2" exhaust, i thought it was the greatest thing ever, used to handle like it was on rails, but was bloody hard to turn the wheel in car parks or whenever driving slowly!

mine is supposedly a type M it has air bag instructions on the drivers sun shade, but a normal wheel. are you saying you can get turbo r32's without a LSD?

wow i get about 300k's per tank, driving sedatly

souds like an idea, only just got the car so maybe later, ha ha ha. but i much prefer the look of the boot without the spoiler, so if anyone knows someone who wants to swap pm me.
