they can only take forensic evidence if there is any. dusting for prints usually only works on clean surfaces because the oil on your skin needs something to "bond" to. Plus, you have a busy workshop where there are probably dozens if not more finger prints. they can only take blood if its there, and skin cells/hairs are a dime a dozen in most places. lets be realistic guys, its not like csi on tv.
