ok, well, its not for a car mp3 player, or anything to do with a computer at all, it just so happens it will be using the motor system from a cd rom. it will involve some soldering, and a few other bits and pieces. its something that I've never seen done before, so I don't want to explain it publically. If anyone is interested, I'll take you out for a beer and explain it then. please pm me or email me if interested.

Just curious if anyone would be interested in my laptop. It's just over a year old, 1.3ghz Centrino system, built in wifi (802.11b), 60gb hdd, 256mb ram, cd burner, dvdrom, 14.1" screen. Comes with a specifically made genuine Sony Vaio case, aibo plush dog (which also acts as an lcd screen cleaner). Machine runs both Linux and WinXP perfectly. a big, Big, BIG to John Howell (his details are in the link paul posted above) Just re-installed my doors/inserts (with help from r to the i to the a to the Z) and it looks awesome. I had purple suede replace the standard suedey type material in the series 2 gts-t's and also had my gearstick and handbrake leather redone. it looks awesome. I will post some pics up tomorrow for all to see. I'll be having the seats re-trimmed in charcoal leather and purple suede with a grey stitching in the not too distant future. thanks once again john, greatly appreciated
