  1. mine also squeaks on cold morning start ups, but meh
  2. man since i bought my C34 everyone at work calls it "THE HEARSE" should get the custom plates lol.
  3. I see, have you heard anything about them like what the adjustment is like. Edit: just read about them on nengun, 20mm of adjustment that is piss weak there not even worth it.
  4. Has anyone heard anything about these tein coilovers? http://www.stageagarage.com.au/tein2dbasicwagon.html They seem to be a very good price for a quality brand of suspension, does anyone have em or know anyone who does cause i was looking at some cheap coilies but these are fairly cheap and a reputable brand. BTW the C34 ones
  5. what about rears? i take it they arent s14?
  6. yeah that would be hell gay waiting 15 minutes for overdrive since im on the freeway in 2 mins then its 25 mins to work lol. I think im just gonna rip mine out and get it a good flush ey, i was also wondering if something like a R34 auto radiator would be any thicker and direct fit? something to think about. BTW since i put in my bigger davies craig cooler it definately takes longer to get overdrive, just something i noticed from the extra cooling.
  7. sweet man let us know what you find out, from my understanding the radiator cooler is more of a "warmer" more there to bring the tranny up to temp quicker and reduce wear on short trips and such.
  8. thanks for letting me know it wont make my car go faster lol, i'm just worried about it overheating when i get a front mount in our hot Perth summers just a precausion really for pice of mind, i might just get mine flushed really well and see how it goes. I may try a radiator repair shop also like you said not a bad idea.
  9. /\/\ Yes they are the same and diret fit, can you elaborate on the options? as there are plenty around for R33's but i havent seen one for an auto yet with the built in cooler/warmer in the radiator.
  10. i emailed PWR they do one for an auto R33 would be direct fit, comes to $990 delivered, pretty steep for a street car so i think ill be steering clear of this one although im sure the quality would be awsome.
  11. /\/\ now thats not a bad idea, the other thing i was thinking of was it cant be that hard to add a pipe running through the bottom tank of an aftermarket one, might cost a couple of hundred bucks but would be well worth it. what does everyone else think?
  12. /\/\/\ what options you looking at?
  13. thanks mate that is what i would be after, where did you purchase it from, how much? brand? BTW i also have the V8 trans cooler inplace of the standard bar cooler.
  14. dunno about that mines a series one ind it has both for sure. Not the first one iv seen either, man if it was manual it would make this alot easier.
  15. /\/\ hang on a sec i'm going to replacing the radiator so i cant keep the stock cooler if i dont that, which is why im asking, obviously while i still have the stock rad in i will retain both.
  16. yeah i have a davies craig one (the same as in the tutorial) fitting it tomorrow, i still have my standard radiator atm. So i might need to run a couple of coolers if i delete the in-radiator one the ey? anyone out there with a series 1 done this upgrade?
  17. just if it's cool to bypass it and just run an upgraded front mount kind of cool inplace of the crap factory front mount oil cooler. will it cause damage etc. I see the radiator one as more assisting with warm up anyway rather than cooling, i was just wonding if other people are already doing this without problems.
  18. Hey guys i was reading through threads about aftermarket radiators and was thinking of getting one before summer hit as my system needs a flush anyways and the cooling pro ones are nice and cheap. But it doesn't seem there are any for auto cars with a cooler in the radiator for the auto tranny, so i wanna know if anyone has one (i think the r33/34 one is direct fit from memory) and you are running your car without it and just you the front mount tranny cooler (upgraded obviously) bypassing the one in the radiator. Thanks for any help, i have two weeks off work coming up so i planning heaps of maintainence/mods in that time and this is one of them.
  19. /\/\/\ there was an n/a one for sale like a week ago someone posted the link i cant find it now, but it was the first one iv ever seen in aus (not saying that means much though lol)
  20. Yeah that's right same tire profile also so the overall rolling diametre is the same
  21. I'd get an alignment first to be sure aswell as a wheel balance but my vibration was sort of through the car it's kind of hard to describe it. I just hope this fixes it I'll post up the results, but either way the unis were rooted and needed doing.
  22. yeah that's why I don't mind spending the money cause it can be serviced and I'm broke too don't worry about that lol.
  23. i rang final drive and they gave me a similar quote over the phone, as he said he does GTR ones a fair bit and these are very similar so he said 600 plus as well (this is for new bearings which will be servicable, which is what VEEM are doing), so im just getting VEEM to do it and i should get it back by the end of the week as they have to order in the small size uni joints. What cost the money is the machining at $120/h, its at leat 3 hours of machine work they reakon. also at half the cost of a new one (i wouldnt bother with second had only to end up with the same problem down the track) i think its a reasonable price but others may disagree.
  24. parking sensor i believe one of the really early ones.
  25. final drive ey ill give em a try, thanks for that. what did it cost you through them, and was it your front shat because that is the hard one to do be cause of the small size of the uni's.
