  1. the steering wheel is on there pretty stuckly, hope it doesn't bend or damage any parts while trying to force the wheel off though...:-( if anyone has some first hand experience taking the wheel off without tools (steering wheel puller), let me know how you did it! cheers
  2. Yeah I got a "steering wheel puller"(if thats what your referring to), but it's seized at the moment (soaking it in some WD40 now) so I will try that tomorrow... But incase that does not work, after some other options...
  3. try Japanes Special Vehicles in Thomastown, had everything I was after (except side skirts :-( )
  4. yeah been doing that jay, almost pulled muscles in my back :-( thanks for your help tho mate, might just have to see if anyone else can help or try and think of some things on my own... bloody thing
  5. Went to change my factory steering wheel to my new MOMO just now, and I cannot for the life of me get the factory one off!!! :-( I have taken the nut off the center spline bit, but cannot manovuer the wheel off! :-( What am I doing wrong?
  6. Sorry to bring up such an old thread, but I will be installing my new wheel on the weekend and want to know all the things I should know before then... What do you mean moved to suit? did you just move it, test drive and move to a different position until the HICAS light stopped comming on? Cheers guys....
  7. just a word of warning for all you peoples resetting your ECU's... ONLY disconnect the NEGATIVE terminal on the battery. Because when re-connecting the negative terminal chances of burning out an electric component is far less that the positive. and yes, resetting the ECU does work (for me anyway - R32)
  8. I mean do you have a pic of the rear skirts? Haven't seen them properly. Just on cars going zooooooooom past me :-)
  9. Yeah, he was busy all day Monday unloading a container, sounds like they must have a pretty big area as everything I asked for (besides the skirts) he said yep, yep and yep! And getting in another container next week too. The skirts you got from there, are they the factory replicas? or even originals? If so, I don't suppose you have a pic of them on your car? Cheers
  10. Rang Julian back today, but no-go for those side skirts :-( He said he might have some at the end of next week, so fingers crossed! He also had some other stuff I was after, and for less than half the price of other places! Thanks again WazR32GTSt!
  11. any advice or hints so I dont break something would be much appreciated! :-)
  12. I have rung just about every import wreckers I can find! :-( No one has them, I just keep getting number to ring, but still no one has those rear skirts, even though they are on just about every R32! That is why I thought it would be easy to find a set :-)
  13. I have read quite a few threads and stuf about people having problems putting on an afermarket steering wheel on an R32 inreagards to HICAS. 1) I am putting a new wheel on my R32 soon (and yes I have brought the hicas boss kit) and was wondering if I should get someone to do it for me so I do not stuff up the sensor, alignment or whatever for the HICAS and ruin something that works? 2) Is it easy to remove factory wheel and do the whole boss kit and new wheel if I do it myself? Cheers
  14. My RB20DET engine's number ends with an "A" too... Does that mean anything?
  15. anyone know where to get the rear skirts from? even second hand...just need/want 'em...
  16. I have looked on the UAS website and cannot find those "pods" anywhere. Type-M imports in Dandenong don't seem to exist, I cant find their number anyway :-) I have emailed UAS and they seem to only be able to do rear skirts from another body kit, which looks quite horrible! Anyone have pics of these pods on cars? or anyone with the "normal" or "facotry" rear skirts have a pic or know where to get 'em? Cheers again people, Corey. PS: My car is an R32, just incase some people might get it mixed up for an R33. ;-)
  17. Hi everyone, To start off with, yes I have done a search of SAU but has nto helped me :-) Ok, I can find the sideskirts in the photos I have attached from Unique AutoSports in NSW, but what I cannot find is the rear-quarter side skirts that I have seen so many R32's with! Can anyone tell me where they got theirs or where I can get the rear-querter side skirts? Thanks everyone! Corey.
