  5. found this on antilag needs word spread Hello All, As many of you may have heard; A bushfire swept through the outskirts of Toodyay destroying many houses and devastating many farms/livestock. This bushfire has hit close to home, and I am sure you all know someone who has been affected by this fire. Running on Empty Car Club is organising a Fundraiser Cruise to raise some much needed money for the people in Toodyay who have lost everything. Details of the cruise are as follows: Date: Saturday 9th January, 2010 Meet Point: Causeway Car Park, Cnr Causeway & Riverside Dr Time: 8pm Depart: 8:45pm $10 Per Map. All money raised from the event will NOT be held by Running on Empty Car Club. ALL money will be given straight to the Toodyay community. please spread the word. See you all there!   9. total cars was about 100 - 120 all up including lead groups was way to many v8s for my liking so bailed half way through no word yet on how much was raised

  11. thanks to all the guys who came and had a ball i think i got about half way through my rubber and a few hits to the head with the car flicking around but yeah i think i will start planning our next 1 asap

  13. Cruise for Cause 09 is being organised to help raise funds for Princess Margaret Hospital. This cruise will involve car clubs from around Perth but is also open to individuals interested in helping out Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation. The event is being held on the 8th of November starting at Claremont Showgronds. So dont forget to Register! Timetable (approximate) Sunday 8th of November 9.00am Marshalling will begin at Claremont showgrounds (entry via Gate 8) 10.30am Cruise will leave showgrounds 3.00pm Cruise return to Showgrounds 3.30pm Show and Shine competition 5.00pm Finish time Please note: Please ensure you have $20 entry fee per car. In order to make the marshalling easier please fill in a entry form (available on http://www.cruiseforcause.com.au ) Payment on the day is possible however none of the gate attendants will carry change so please ensure you bring the correct amount. All cars involved in the cruise are required to sign waivers which will be provided on the day. For those not entering the cruise: you are welcome to come in the afternoon to have a look and help us out. The entry fee will be $10 per car and all proceeds go to PMH foundation.   16. during briefing you are taught correct driving line, braking points, seating position, hand position and a few other handy tips. then u got about 3 1/2 hours out there on the skid pan to put it into practice over a few different track setups, there is a instructor the whole time who will come in the car with u a few times give you ongoing tips through out the day and even drive your car around to show you how it should be done

  25. i always just drive straight in most times security haven't even asked an if they do i just say i have gear for a competitor plus im usually there early anyway
