That really sux George :x I have experienced a bit of crap too I thought it only happened to girls!! (because they think they can bullshit us into anything). For example, the only thing wrong with my car when i had it imported was that the muffler was stuffed...it rattled and made a really bad noise, so i when I got the cam belt replaced i asked the workshop to check it out. They replaced a bracket :roll: which did f**k all and charged me for it. Hehehe next day I'm back.... made them look at it again...they spent over 2 hours taking the muffler off, checking it, driving the car with it off, driving with it on, finally did the job I asked them to do in the first place. "um yeah the muffler is stuffed, take it to an exhaust place who can replace it".... got my money back on the "bracket" and walked out without paying a cent for the extra 2 hours labour they spent finding the problem. Just persist until you're happy...keep going back till they have done everything you paid them to do.

oh and Neil !!!! i don't need those bus trips that the "old girls" (watch yaself there!!!!!) go on!! Ok, well what if we do this: Sydney ppl meet someone in Syd, Canberra ppl meet somewhere in Canb, both groups cruise to Goulburn (or nearby).....we find a nice drive for like an hour or two that goes thru some kind of State Rec area where we can stop, have nice food (not shit maccas), play cricket, throw balls at Urine etc.... If anyway wants porn or fireworks, lemme know and I'll buy it for you...COD lol!

Prank and I are thinking of organising a cruise/meet for all Canberra & Sydney people.... No definate details yet, but we will be meeting soemwhere halfway, maybe Goulburn? or somewhere near there... It looks like happening about mid-June as this will suit most people, and also gives everyone plenty of notice. We are keen to get some ideas and input from everyone!! Anyone know any good drives around that area? Who's keen? Let us know what you think!

Well if I lived in Sydney, I would have loved to have driven with you guys, but I'm taking the easy option and flying. It's just a bit too far for me to drive for only a weekend. i drove up at Xmas, taking a couple of days each way, and even that took it out of me a bit. Hope u get a few more guys, Nick. I was hanging out to see some other Skylines on that highway....doing the trip in a group will be awesome, even if there's only 3 or 4 of you.

oh and gsi, your idea of a club centred around top speed/performance is not a bad one. Like I said, people want to join a club because of a similar passion and if that's your passion then that might be the club for you. It's not what i'd be looking for (with my totally stock car LOL) but best of luck with it.

Yes, Prank, you and Neil were there but look at how many Canberra ppl were there! There's easily twice that amount who are like "so when's the next cruise?"...keen as! Then when u organise something, suddenly no one's available.
