tryed the hand controller again,with the same result... Pulled the cover off my pfc and stick on the chip was: fc rb25-2 So i dont know whats up other than buying the new el model.. very frustrating

question... I have a pfc numbered: pfc rb25 9810-0049 Now i took the car to be tuned,but the tuners software wouldn't recognize the computer,said i would need a hand commander unit for him to tune it. So i borrowed a mates commander which was off a pfc numbered:ecr33 and what ever numbers i cant remember,which worked fine. Now im trying to buy my own commander,just brought one numbered: fcc nt9607-0464....BUT it doesn't work,just goes to the apexi screen and stops there,but from everything ive read,this unit should work...??? Could someone please point me in the right direction..

surely there's someone out there that no longer need their hand commander... Or has one sitting collecting dust... Or can just borrow theirs to me for a few days at the end of next week..???? Can negotiate borrowing fee if thats helps...

or ill even just borrow one if someone's will to lend it to me... Would only be for a few days at the end of next week,just getting the tune cleaned up.. Let me know

As title states,i need to buy power fc commander to suit Rb25 pfc..OR ECR33 pfc.. Need ASAP New or second hand,show me what uve got.. Cheers

as far as i know it was only tuned through the hand controller... I thinking this mite be a problem...?

guilt-toy: who told you about this car...? And i dont have a scanner,so cant put up,and it doesn't have afr's on print out...

turbo is a billet...i rang mr turbo on the goldcoast to try and track down the exact specs of the turbo,he said it would have similar spec wheels as a garrett 3071r... with .63 rear housing I cant check knock as i dont have a hand controller for the computer,which was a problem in its self as tuner said his software wouldnt recognize my computer,saying it must be too old,so i borrowed a hand controller so he could tune it,which he did through the controller.. Boost is spiking because of crap bleed valve..two ways of fixing that is:1. another spring in the wastegate to run 18psi,or 2 get an electronic boost controller...? Im not naming the tuner as i dont know for sure it's a tune problem.... Cheers

Hey. So ive got a r33,rb25det.. Just installed bigger turbo,the closest i can compare to would be garret 3071r. Power fc external 38mm turbosmart ultragate Z32 afm and 580cc injectors... After a huge f**k around with getting it tuned,when i was assured i would have it back same day,it finally got done. Got 326.6hp at wheels..boost is spiking at 18,and droping back to 15 by redline.. Quote for tune was $500,ended up costing $750. Now after driving the car around for a few weeks,im noticing it kind of hesitates sometime when light on the throttle,seems to cold start fine,but then other random times it cranking over for 10sec or more and just coughing to life..hot or cold.. Also had to wind the boost down the other day as engine light had been flashing on,and was advised it was detonating.. I know the car's not perfect,but think it mite be worth my while getting the tune looked at by someone else.. Im living near newcastle..so anywhere around here or sydney.. Also any advise is also welcome cheers

the software wont do it,because it must be an old pfc according to the tuner.. So i need a hand controller that is compatible with my computer to tune it through that im guessing.. Big pain in the ass.. Thats what i get buying direct straight from japan,how do i know how old it is

As the title states, ive got an rb25det,running alloy radiator. 6 months ago i had heater hoses splitting,which ended up being caused by the overflow line being blocked,so it couldn't release the pressure,or coolant. At that stage i got the radiator flushed and system flushed,and i changed the cap too just for good measure. Now i have a slow leak from a bung at the bottom on the radiator which is on the to do list,so coolant levels slowly drop,but ive been checking it and topping up with water when ever needed. So im probably not running enough coolant,but the water is still a green colour. Now when ever im driving,i can hear the fan kicking in and out,which is normal,and the temp gauge is always sitting just below half,but when i pull up,i can sometimes hear the water bubbling,and feel it bubbling in the overflow. Take tonight i went for a drive,guess it would be about 26deg out,35min to destination,stopped for 15min,then 40min home again,driving normal,with a squirt here and there,pooped the bonnet as soon as i got home,fan going,coolant/water in overflow pooping/bubbling away,not much,but could feel it on the side of overflow bottle. Yet temp gauge sitting as always just under half.. Any one got any ideas? Thanks

I have a R33 with extra long wheel studs and am looking for slip on spacers to get the desired arch fill from my rims. There is plenty of bolt on hubcentric spacers on the market,but they are useless for anyone already running long studs,and not wanting to cut them down. I found these spacers in the US,and was wondering if there is anything being sold over here the same. Im not interested in the super cheap or autobahn slip on spacers as they don't sit flush around the base of the studs or around the center on the hub. The hubcentric spacers come in handy with centering the wheel when putting the nuts on the stud,and save you fluffing around jiggling the wheel. Weather the spacer is hubcentric or not,i would like it to sit flush with either the center of the hub,or studs,or both. Anyone?

I was just wondering if any testing has been done between stock side feed throttle body position,and moving to front facing? Cheers

As above,im after some stock r33 rims,with or without tyres. Im on the southern goldcoast,and am looking for some rims in the general goldcoast area. Looking to pay around $100 without tyres And with tyres,well it will depend on how much tread. Not really fussed if they have been painted,just as long as they have no buckles or cracks.
