I would be expecting lots more grip if the front end was hooking up. The only time I can get bucket loads of wheelspin is when in 2WD.
If the front end isn't hooking up you have an easy 12 in the car when you sort it out.
The number I quoted was from the horses mouth (John??) when Whiteline replaced the rear bar on the RS4S all those years ago because the first one didn't fit. Admittedly the number is from memory. I am not sure whether they tested the factory bar or not but I reckon it was his best guess.
It will be interesting to see what Whiteline come back with.
Going from a hollow 24mm bar to solid on the rear is an upgrade but less noticeable than the improvement on the autos.
From memory a Whiteline guy said this would be an increase in rate of about 60-70% but this is only from memory and something that should be asked again to confirm.
I used the official website and the prices are pretty decent. I tried double checking through other websites like wotif and the hotel websites directly, it seems like those dates are block booked by gptravel already.

I booked the flights directly through Qantas just to make sure there was certainty on the flights and plenty of options if anything goes awry.
$1150 per person including at a decent hotel suits me fine. There were cheaper packages but I chose a hotel with twin queen beds. I hate when my legs hang off the end of the bed.
We just need to get to and from the airport, feed ourselves and find a watering hole.
$1150 including flights, tickets and hotel from Fri night checking out Mon am.
..and some sort of Gold member deal with lanyard and assorted stuff which also gets us a grid walk on Saturday and photo op if booked by today.
