  1. They are listed on AP's site, not Apexi's: http://www.ap-engineering.co.jp/el/procpu.htm Lucien.
  2. Again, at this stage, no PFC Pros. Brent said all PFCs except AP Engineering units, and as I said above, I think the Pros are made by AP. I will double check this later, but for now assume no. You could of course go for a standard model though (how often are you sending the WRX down the strip?) LW.
  3. Craved: I am waiting till numbers are a little bit closer to 20 till I chat to Nengun about complicating things by asking about Pro specs. AFAIK, the Pro's are also made by AP Engineering... They also don't come with hand controllers. Anyway, I have added you to the list with a little note about preferring a Pro if possible. Lucien.
  4. In all probability, DOTARS will -- as you have said -- allow cars already purchased. However, that's relying on their good will. At the end of the day, unless you have lodged your application for import approval before the date of commencement for the new regulations, you could be subject to the new scheme. As I said, its unlikely, but personally I wouldn't want to be sitting on a 1990 car Lucien.
  5. Running rich is a very good strategy by car makers to ensure they don't have cars returned with bung engines On a stock to lightly modified GT-R, you could easily get away with an SAFC-II, but then they are ~$400 and when you make any major modifications you will probably want to upgrade. Basically, its overkill, but its more futureproof IMHO. I will be putting one on my (basically) stock GT-R and getting it tuned for local fuel conditions. I expect there to be some small gains in fuel effeciency and by leaning out the A/Fs, some power gains. Quite how large or small, I'm not sure. It might be worth bugging a tuner (Dr Drift, SK, etc) to get some idea of the benefits on a stock car. Edit: List updated: we are halfway there now folks. Fingers crossed. I meant SAFC not AVC-R Lucien.
  6. Yup, your right. My point was that its a package as somepeople still assume that PFCs come seperately. Lucien.
  7. Well the A/F levels on Jap imports tend to run rather rich even in stock form, so tuning for our local fuel is not a bad idea IMHO. Plus most people have the usual induction and exhaust modifications which makes the A/F ratios even worse. Lucien.
  8. The price includes the hand controller. LW.
  9. Done. Your currently down for 1 x 180SX Red Top SR20 & 1 x Skyline R33 GTS-t S2 and we will sort out the PFC Pro thing. Lucien.
  10. cowie165: R32 GT-R I assume? Done.. LW.
  11. SR series are fine; CA series are not covered. Lucien.
  12. Bullant47: you have PM babia: Your added.
  13. I agree with Duncan. (That is, either buy straight away, or wait) It is quite possibly the worst moment to buy an import as: The rules are about to change Prices on 15 year old cars are inflated in expectation of the rule change The shipping lines are bumping cars off left, right and centre Unless you can find the R32 GTS-t your after within the next two or three weeks, and its already eligable for import approval, I wouldn't bother with importing: wait till the dust settles from the implementation of the new system LW.
  14. That's crazy. Thinly vieled death threats, threats to get people rolled... absolutely nuts. I am sure some people have legitimate compliants, but stuffups happens with all businesses, particularly those that are popular: its just the law of percentages. No matter how hard the business tries, evey now and then a person falls through the cracks. The funny (or worrying) thing is that those that do have some difficulty are invariably so much louder than everyone else: you don't usually see people shouting when they have had a good experience with a trader. In fact half the time those people who post compliants don't bother to even update their threads even when their problems are sorted. As others have said, if you are going to order from overseas -- although the same can very well apply to locally run webshops -- it often takes a little longer, but the rewards is a much lower price. Instant gratification means going retail, which adds significantly to the cost of goods. That's my .02 of a dollar. Lucien.
  15. linxus40 / MADGT4: The RB20 version is made by AP Engineering and thus, I'm afraid, is not available at this price. Lucien.

    Money Question

Are Japanese ATMs still as annoying as they were when I visted a couple of years ago? I remember it was nearly impossible to find ATMs that weren't tied to specific banks and their cards, and they seemed to be closed all the freaking time. Definate cash society. Pack wads LW.
  17. Its like a fine wine.... it has aged well LW.
  18. meso: is it Australian Standards compliant? LW.
  19. Nuts, absolutely nuts, but somehow so appealing LW.
  20. Adrian, There is no need to post such inflammatory statements. If Customs chooses to impose GST, it will have to be payed, at least that's my understanding. I have had a lot of parcels from overseas. Sometimes customs just lets them through, othertimes they decide to charge duties (and this is with parcels properly declared too). Go figure. Lucien.
  21. Hi, PowerFC's are apparently covered by a worldwide 12 month warranty: if you have any doubts, I suggest you check with Nengun. As for your concerns about sending money, that's certainly understandable. Like any business, Nengun has had some good and bad 'press', but if you do a search of these forums I think you will find the majority of people are happy with Nengun's service. Having said all that, are you still interested, and if so, for what vehicle? Lucien.
  22. 5 down, 15 to go. Any other forums people recommend? Cheers, Lucien.
  23. Updated. brett33: R33 GTS-t, yes? Lucien.
  24. P1E: I thought I had joined N.S., but obviously not. If your happy to post it up that would be great. I agree its a bit hopefull, but no harm in trying. At the end of the day I still need one and if I (and others) can save some cash, so be it. Lucien.
  25. Your added. Re: the boost-controller, as I only a few people would want one at best, I guess the price would be the standard one listed on Nengun's site (¥30,500.00). It can be adjusted through the hand controller; as for installation, you best do a search. I have already posted at SDU. I will post it on NissanSilvia when I have a second Lucien.
