New/near New Rims For Your Gt-r
Import Monster replied to Import Monster's topic in For Sale (Business Traders)
It's a little more flat than the Bronze ones mate, kind of in between the gloss paint finish and the anodised finish - but that may be a result of the paint finish, rather than what is underneath -
http://www.importmonster.com.au/shop/produ...roducts_id=1091 $2980 the set 18 x 9.5", +12, 5 x 114.3 PCD Volk TE37 in Bronze. A set made from seperate pairs, so there is a very slight colour difference between one pair and another you may notice in the pics. Gutter marks removed and lips rebronzed, so there are no gutter marks at all. There are some small scratches/marks on the rims - shown in pics, but overall I'd rate them at 8.5-9 out of 10 condition wise. PERFECT track rims, ultra strong and lightweight In stock now for immediate pickup/shipment.

Hi Guys this model CE28n was limited to only 500 sets worldwide and very few of them were made in this size. They are 19 x 10.5" +22 offset all round. I have only one set and unlikely to ever find another, so if these float your boat it's best to jump on them $4600 the set. http://www.importmonster.com.au/shop/produ...f8d129b352d9116

Hi Guys, I have some super hot rims in stock right now, brand new to suit GT-Rs. Also some that are used, but in excellent condition 10.5" Wide VOLKS in GT-R fitment are amongst the most desireable and hard to get rims. Unlike most manufacturers, RAYS do not pump out a few hundred sets and then sit them on the shelf for people to drop ship and wh0re the prices out to make a hundred bucks. All VOLK 10.5" wide rims are made to order. Full payment is required and they do not do a run until they have enough orders to make it viable. Therefore, at times you can wait 6 months to get your hands on a set - AND you've paid in full! So we did just that, quite some time ago In light of the above, these aren't cheap. Even so, there's not a huge margin in these for us so the prices are firm. As the old saying goes - you gotta pay to play I can special order these at a cheaper price than I am offering these for right now, however as you've just read, be prepared for a decent wait First up! Brand new 19 x 10.5" +22 TE37 in Matte Black $4650 http://www.importmonster.com.au/shop/produ...roducts_id=1077 --------------- Brand new 19 x 10.5" +22 TE37 in Bronze $4650 http://www.importmonster.com.au/shop/produ...roducts_id=1078 ------------ Brand new Nismo LM GT4 in Bronze. 18 x 10.5" +15. $4400 http://www.importmonster.com.au/shop/product_info.php?cPath=40_45&products_id=1074 ------- Brand new Volk Progressive Spoke in 18 x 9.5" +15 $3630 http://www.importmonster.com.au/shop/produ...roducts_id=1050 ------- Near new Volk RE30 18 x 10.5" +15 $3600 http://www.importmonster.com.au/shop/produ...roducts_id=1064 ------- Near new 18 x 9.5 inch VOLK RE30 +15 $3400 http://www.importmonster.com.au/shop/produ...roducts_id=1082 -------- Used VGC 19 x 9.5" +22 Volk TE37 $3600 http://www.importmonster.com.au/shop/produ...roducts_id=1061 ------- Brand new Sparco NS06 Cheetah 19 x 10.5" +18 http://www.importmonster.com.au/shop/produ...roducts_id=1056 ---------

The Import Industry
Import Monster replied to Mr Eps's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
So many in the industry are jealous of their little kingdoms, they can't see the bigger picture or work together to any real extent. Perfect example is, what I shall name "Example vehicle A" example vehicle A gains SEVS approval. Workshop 1 does the hard yards, spends the money to get a test example vehicle A through the process and BAM - they hold compliance now for example vehicle A, a car that no one else holds compliance for. And they've paid a fortune for it too, as there's no evidence pack to buy off someone else, so they are doing it from scratch. So what do they do? They screw the maximum dollars out of the plates for as long as they can, til workshop 2 comes along and does the same car. Double the availability of plates does NOT guarantee double the amount of cars to comply. Invariably workshop 2 then pegs their compliance a few hundred bucks lower than workshop A. People flock to workshop B because they're not cynically trying to cash in like workshop A clearly were, ( end sarcasm) when they had exclusivity on that vehicle. Then we've got two shops, each with an evidence pack they can sell on... so they do so, meaning it's cheaper for the next lot of shops as they're not flying blind, they have the evidence all laid out in front of them. So for six months or so, these two go along merrily making max bucks on their plates until bam. Workshop c,d,e,f and g all get their approvals. Then compliance goes from $3500 to $2500 in literally a month. So what has happened here? Has a pool of extra customers miraculously come into existence to give all of these workshops the jobs needed to recoup what they spent within the first 12 months of doing their plates? Of course not. Small country, niche industry = very finite pool of customers. All workshop c through g have done is given the customers more choice. Before you know it, compliance is $2k because customers now are few and far between and are shopping around for prices. Then of course, you get the shops who want to maintain their profit margins, while cutting the other guys out of the pictures and BAM. Corners get cut. Customers fault? Of course it's not. Brokers fault? Of course it's not. Fault of human nature? Of course it is. It's the industry going the dog eat dog route, all's fair in love and war til someone loses a car at regency because the compliance shop let the car out with mods it shouldn't have had. Solution? Make the compliance associations more than just a name and a way of sharing a degas license. Workshop a, b and c share costs to comply car a, b and c. Then three workshops have access to three plates without having to go through the testing process 3 different times for the same car (meaning 3 evidence packs instead of 9). Each shop adds one car and bam. Then you put in place trading schemes with other groups of RAWS who have the plates that these guys don't get. All cars get covered and the money is not spent 10's of times over and over to do evidence for the one model. The major stumbling block? Trust is required to make this happen. But if it did happen, there'd be no need for workshops to try to price each other out. Far be it for me to suggest price fixing, as clearly that's illegal. But if they weren't all battling to pick up that one client who is shopping around (as there would be the one shop complying that car, instead of 3) then there'd be no need to cut the price to the bone to win the business. Perfect example of the above is the E51 El Grand. First one I imported for a client was near $4k in compliance. Now it's a smidge over $2500. Has it got cheaper to comply this car? No. Have I done anything to drive the price down? No. So why has the price dropped so dramatically in 12 months? Right now there's about 24 RAWS Auswide with the E51 El Grand on their books. So when a dealer wants to carry stock of the El Grand on his lot and has 3 or 4 at Port in Japan... who is he gonna go to for compliance? It sure isn't going to be the guy asking a grand more than the rest. When a broker wants to sign up a client to import a car for them, yet he's quoting $400 more than the other broker for compliance of the same car - what's he going to do? Ask his preferred company to price match, or switch. That's not the brokers fault, he needs to make a living and does so by importing cars for his clients. If they go elsewhere, because they'll save $400 on compliance.. well it's a simple equation to complete. If he's not signing people up, he's not making money. Is he going to fail to pay his mortgage so he can take a stand against cheap compliance? yeah, no. Change needs to come from within, Confucious say. And so I think customers busting your balls for cheaper compliance is symptomatic of the overall direction of the industry, rather than being the causal factor. In my humble opinion -

Compliance for the 110 took about 18 months longer than it should have. The first test vehicle came in back in late 07 or early 08 -
Hi Guys, these came with my new wheels, I had to go to narrower rubber to get the new rims under my guards so unfortunately I can't use these tyres. I can only say that the grip from these is f*^&%g unbelievable for a street tyre. New price on these is around the $2400 mark. These have at least 75% tread on them. $1250 the set, pickup available from Bayswater VIC or freight auswide available at buyers expense Cheers Aaron

bumpage - quite a few people have expressed interest, no one has put their money down as yet though. First come first served obviously -
Hi Guys I have a genuine Nismo BNR34 GT-R Bumper in stock. It is used, in excellent condition and finished in bayside blue. Paint is not perfect, however is pretty good! Originally to go on my BNR34 which is now sold, I opted for a stock bumper with the Nismo oil cooler ducting in the end and this has sit around gathering dust ever since. This bumper owes me close to $1600 after shiping and taxes, I will let it go for $1400. Pics will be up later but attached is a pic of what it looks like on the car. Note, the bumper only is included - the lower lip and diffuser, you would reuse your own lip and diffuser Also for sale is a genuine Nismo Weldina NE-1 exhaust system to suit BNR34 GT-R's (slight length diff between a 33 and 34 but would fit 33 too). Discontinued by Nismo now, these are a work of art. Immaculate welds, the muffler MINT. The only blemish in this otherwise flawless system is that one cat has collapsed. I was aware of this when I purchased it and not at all bothered as I planned to run *very high flow* cats anyway. $1500 as is. If you're like me and plan to run *very high flow* cats then this is perfect for you. Otherwise, I shouldn't think it'd be a hard job for an exhaust shop to replace that one cat core. Pics up soon. Cheers Aaron

Tein And Hks Coilovers For Bcnr33/bnr34 Gt-r
Import Monster replied to Import Monster's topic in For Sale (Business Traders)
Hi mate the HKS are a good unit, though without the base height adjustability of the Teins. Ie when you adjust the height of the HKS, you are also adjusting the spring preload as you are compressing the spring.. The tein are sold now, another set on the way in around 8 weeks time. 99% of what we sell is sourced direct from Japan, so will be Jap Spec Cheers Az -
Hi Mate I have just got a very clean used pair into stock, I am after $380 posted for the pair. Can send you pics if you like? Cheers Aaron
