  1. called up the taxi company this arvo, apparently their car arnt insured either!! so the guy just ask me to go to their preferred panel shop in moorabbin and they will cover all cost for repairing anyone has experience with "Master Panel"
  2. Thanks everyone for your quick response. I'll be reporting to the nearest police station first thing tomorrow and contact the taxi depo/taxi driver to see their response in regards of repair my car. I have my girlfriend as the passenger would that count? Also it happened right in front of a car-park entrance/exit so my best guess there would be some CCTV/video recording if the taxi driver being dodgy. Friend of mine had similar issue back in Dec last yr on Kings way....his lawyer did mentioned the rego fee we pay every yr does cover the third party insurance
  3. Guys, i need some advised here. Just got back from the road... I was stopped at traffic light + jam on Williams Rd x Flinder Lane, then got hit from back by a stupid taxi driver. Lucky, car only suffer minor damage on the rear left bumper, everything else seem to be fine. However, my insurance has expired and was planning to renew it end of the month... I've got all detail for the taxi driver (full name, address, driver license number, ph number, rego, taxi depo contact), took pic of both car (lucky i left my SLR camera in the boot). Friend told me I would need to seek for a lawyer to claim for the repair, or what should I do now?
  4. To celebrate the new owner of "CPV35" - Kevin, we decided to go te trout farm on the mountain for test drive~ Blamming the leading car missed out a left turn and we were runnign pretty much in dirt/mud road for almost half hr before we arrive the farm (didnt have chance to take pic as both hand is on steering!!) It was a good and quick run tho~ Ending up with cup of coffee on Sky View - do hope Kev dont pick up any speedy fine bcoz he was going some speed on open roads
  5. Might grab ur catback, sway bars and grill- PM the price if you can~
  6. RAV4 can still run for good~ i'll get kev to let u get in the car anyway~
  7. btw...i keep spotting on a Silver Coupe with nice long arse led strips on Russel St, anyone here?
  8. LOL, My bro was kinda in hurry for his new RIDE~beside the car is in a very good condidtion compare to what he has inspected lately plus the English Navi, DVD, reverse cam etc.~and plus a extra quick delivery~ and we are like the only V35 Coupe and Sedan in our block too~
  9. What number did you ring up? Direct number for their service dept is 03 8383 8888. (or main reception is 03 8383 1111) Hope this would help~
  10. Hey Guys, Not too sure if this has been bought up before couldnt find any from the search~ Basicaly the pod from the JWT pop charger come with fancy blue~mine is now kinda grey (or almost black). The instruction says use mild degreaser and warm soft water to clean it, that is not an issue, but I did not purchase their refill POD oil tho. What do you use to clean and re-apply ur pod? My bro told me could try to use the K&N refill kits, which works out cheaper and quicker as I can just go down street and pick 1 up from autobarn~
  11. Yep, even mine was considerly quite aftermarket pipes, still cant cop with the EPA noise test... the testers told me EPA is now going for more intensive operations, where it used to be around 2 or 3 operations in a year they now going for 5+ to crack ppl down with noisy car. even with the stock exhaust on the Vs, it barely made throught the EPA noise level too
  12. finally got the EPA done with everything back to stock. and the result....82(83)dB...wasnt expecting the stock pipes goes so close to the edge of 90dB
  13. yea...iam in vic, it was a stupid opation happened back in april...i wasnt aware of it until i got the reminding notice. i didnt get pull over or like that...maybe they just pick up the rego on the street, and that for that i took my car for EPA...they guy said he couldnt do it bcoz i got varex muffler...so had to strip everything back to stock now...
  14. oh yeah~ after almost 3 week waiting, finally got the car back with whole pedal drum section replaced with shipping from Jap, and part+labour cost of $477~ but now i facing another issue - EPA notice from the stupid operation Pipedown....and my varex muffler wont pass it for sure, gotta put everything back to stock and test again, another day without my car
  15. anyone still running this cruise? aww i miss the car wash VIP card~its expired
  16. oh no....guess i m gonna miss out this one bcoz the car still in workshop to get the stupid "limp mode" problem fix up...unless they can get it done this week
  17. hmnm....any1 close to melb CBD would like to give a hand by drop in their car on Monday morning...and let them try your sensor on my car?~ offering rewards for doing so~
  18. cant really wait for 2 weeks.. anyone know where to source wreck part in Oz? I've currently found one in SA...awaiting for reply from them if they do have the part also double checking with Chris Rogers if they pedal component is not interchangeable with Vs and Zs.
  19. Bad news....i just called up City Nissan as I wanna try to replace the pedal position sensor for a trial... they told me they would need to order the part from Japan instead of using 350Z part....which is gonna take more than 2 weeks
  20. Aww...as my car went into limp mode while driving, now the car has been scanned by City Nissan. Called them just then and they said "because its imports, we have limited information about the codes" but they did pick up some code reflecting to pedal position sensor....and ECU..., also mentioned about ABS, but nothing about the mass air flow sensor check on G35driver.com...most of ppl are having the pedal positioning sensor issue too the guy told me because they dont have 350z there otherwise they would strip it and test it out. (might get mate's Z in monday morning if they dont have one, BYO!) they gave me options of: -possible pedal position sensor (came up twice in the scanning, gonna cost me $450 to get it replace) -possible ECU (because they dont know what other code refers to so they just guessing it, and its gonna cost me $3.5k to get it done ) -check with other mech/tech who have more experience on this car...(Chris Rogers!!!) iam awaiting the scan code from them via email now... so wanna get my car back ASAP...should i simply replace the pedal positioning sensor... any help are appreciated~~ ============================== Okay, got the code form City Nissan... "ENGINE – P0226 – APP SENSOR ABS – C1131 – ENGINE SIGNAL 2" According to V35_Paul's information... So....clearly shows Pedal sensor right????
  21. awww...was driving down williams rd today and suddenly car goes into limp mode.... spent 2 hrs to get tow truck to get in down to city nissan and waiting for their diagnostic, finger cross anyone the "possibility" that cause the car goes to limp mode? all i can notice is the engine oil is kinda low when i pull over and checking around the car on the side of the road day before it goes on the tow truck...
  22. im interested~ but gonna get my car check first if the squeezy noise is from the suspension when doing uphill, if so....i m so gonna take this sales. btw....is this the "sporty" or the "comfy" feeling when its on ur 8?
  23. Or you can get it for $70 pair if ur in Melb or extra $10 S&H~
  24. any chance these will be for sale soon? gotta source some struts and spring as mine is making some noise.
  25. I went for City Nissan for the first two services, include a major on 80,000 with CVT flush. They've done an awesome jobs. Then I went to M1Motor in Nunawading last time as recommended by friend (too lazy to go from Doncaster to City during holiday), got my rocker cover fixed and got my car back after 5days (they promised 2 days). Price was okay after their "half price discount", but the service was total disaster compare to Nissan dealer. Price vs Quality/Services....I'll go for quality and service for sure for my beloved V
