for me ... No 5th gear = ridiculously loud engine above 70 km/h head unit is weird, and if pressed too hard buttons dont work = distracting while driving boot rattles a whole ton on not smooth roads at higher speeds tacho would be nice and the car feels heavy as sh** on any turn, worse than bob which was a bigger car! the lack of a passenger side mirror is strange the first and second levels of aircon dont work, only 3rd and 4th and that = FREEZING UR BALLS OFF passenger side windows dont wind down the goods: clutch is soft as jello gears are forgiving and easy to put in surprisingly decent power ... I drove all the way from the vines to claremont and the fuel gauge barely moved! and tons more Im actually really happy with my 700 dollar excel! getting it booked in for an immobiliser asap n thn insuring it with RAC

hahaha I've heard good things about charades! My excel actually felt rather punchy when I drove it .. Didn't feel underpowered at all Felt better than my sisters 06 Hyundai Accent for sure!

I usually just use caltex 98 Octane on the 34 .. My little excel has ... 62kw @ 5500 rpm (84.3hp!) 120nm @ 3500 rpm 950kg 45L tank 7.2/100km in city 5.6/100km on highways thats almost half of what my skyline uses i think .. haha what do you know my dad had a Fiat as his first car too I think! My excels actually in good shape but only tiny bits of rust under the bonnet and the boot, but their tiny, i can probably just scrape them off and get it with some anti rust paint or something I always thought fuel was cheap on tuesdays .. the whole "tight ass tuesdays" slogan but wednesdays seem to be the way to go
