  1. guys, bad news, i called again to confirm with C-Red about the east bear kit, before i went over, and apparently their not bringing in the kit anymore. Pretty confused since they told me they would over the phone the first time. Maybe i'll try calling them another day and see what happens, but it was the same person both times ... i was quoted 7k to fit a body kit on and spray my car a new color btw, was horrified (not from c-red) back to the drawing board for me, but im planning on putting on a nice gt-t kit on for now, then sell and buy a gt-r later. gonna check out genuine west yokohama kit first though, east bear is definitely out, far too expensive now. ninepond what kit is that? looks similar to east bear, but front and rear fenders have been changed.. very nice though.
  2. both top secret, but i think the white one would be the TS2 front bumper on carmate, the silver one TS1? and yeah JSAI are a bit unreliable when trying to contact them, i called for a few days on end, never got anything, emailed 3 times, never got anything... if you lived in sydney you could go see him in person that should work out ok.
  3. check out vivagarage, they have well priced fenders, pretty sure their for the gt-t anyway.
  4. well i treat my car like baby i dont drive it really hard, just love getting admired haha definitely going for the gt-r upgrade in a couple of years then sorry for jacking the post
  5. well most of my mates who really love evo's are into the 9 i can see why, its one of my favourites too but yeah the 6 would definitely be a big hit too especially the 6.5 tommy makinen yeah cheers dohmar, by the time im ready to get a real gt-r i think the 34 would be relatively affordable. was mainly considering insurance/maintenance costs, but for a gt-r its worth it xD
  6. damn you serious? im thinking of swapping my 25gt 34 for a gt-r in a couple years once i have more money, either a 33 or a 34 would it be cheaper to do the gt-r body + stick in a turbo and a couple more performance mods or just get a full gt-r? sorry to jack the thread
  7. whoaa man thats wiked, love it
  8. whoever was looking for the factory nismo kit .. you can get the front bumper from vivagarage.com dcimports in perth seems to kit out half their cars with this kit as well .. check it out with them.
  9. im into the gt-r look cos its just bulkier and more aggressive looking the rounded nose on the gt-r is much nicer though
  10. ive seen those cross factory r34 guards on vivagarage
  11. haha yeah i gotta momo one sitting around, glad to find this post, ive been struggling with it for the past couple of weeks. the button sizes are different on the momo handle i got though thats why i didnt cut it off, i was kinda scared the momo wouldnt fit on and i would need to replace the old one .. gonna try lubing it up soon then cheers
  12. yeah lol thats the stock bar for the series 2 models (the rounded looking one i mean) the front bar you're looking at is just a stock one with a lip only place i have seen is autoworx in perth that has em the bottom bit is same as the nismo factory option kit i think its called? you can get those quite easily
  13. i'd go evo 6 mate, their nice cars, big and roomy too so its pretty good for a daily. i think you can get evo 7's for a bit more than 20k nowadays though, like 25k or so should get a decent one. if you wanna use it for a daily id think something a bit newer would be bit better, outta those options i'd go either the evos or the 34 gt-t. thats just me though, evo's n 34's r my favourite cars
  14. siigh.. their not replying my emails, im gonna go down to their shop soon will let you guys know asap sorry
  15. importing a car from US would be left hand drive though mate, but i have seen a couple of left hand drive cars in perth, they have stickers on em to let other drivers know they are left hand drive lol.
  16. that looks real good mate
  17. gt-r body conversion! best upgrade on the exterior imo or just a normal bodykit looks good too lol but the gt-r conversion is a nice way to go and blow your cash hey mate check out on ebay, theres a full leather rewrapping kit, goes over almost everything. it goes for around 500-1000 bucks? can't remember. nice way to do up the interior for a pretty cheap price though. much cheaper than getting a trimmer to do it all up for you i got this planned for the future
  18. hey mate the U.S is left hand drive, and they drive opposite to us, (on the right hand side of the road = slow lane) i went there recently, it was really confusing, almost turned into the wrong lane, but a whole bunch of drivers horned me and i woke up to what country i was in! i think most skylines are not legal in the U.S and you gotta pay a heap to make it road worthy there. the only way i know off is to bring in the shell of the car, then stick in the parts when it arrives the company KAIZO brought in the skyline r34 shells for the latest fast furious 4 check it out, but itll still cost alot to bring in a shell and fill it with the parts you need etc but really, if your gonna go to the U.S the cars there are so much cheaper, like somebody said above, enjoy the luxury cars, euro cars, muscle cars i saw some nice BMWs etc over there for a good price on the internet, dodge chargers and similar cars. when i went to Los Angeles/Frisco/Vegas the most popular cars i saw were corvettes and mustangs if that helps you in any way. i would think the labour costs involved in modding a car would be cheaper there too, definitely cheaper than what it is in perth. good luck, enjoy the states!
  19. haha yeah i guess that is another thing to consider, it really cant be that bad though can it? carmate is a pretty big site too, im sure they wouldnt sell stuff that is likely to fly off while driving .. or would they :| R34P3R the pictures up on the first post of the pics go from low to highest. unfortunately they only show the high spoiler actually installed on the car. I prefer a low-medium spoiler personally, not really into ones that go too high.
  20. yeah i was wondering about that too, the carbon fibre look is great, looks like its meant to be you can buy carbon fibre wrapping paper, but i doubt that was how it was done, it looks wayy too good for that
  21. alright cheers guys, thanks for the pics it looks like it'd turn out pretty good once fitted and sprayed, was worried about how the final product looked, but that looks fine im currently using the stock gt wing, and even that gets in the way of the rear view mirror a bit, but not really a problem for me, but i'd definitely get the low one, it looks like a good height from the pictures too.
