A less than conscentious previous owner who couldn't be bothered with frequent enough oil changes--ie most of the J's who owned these cars before we get them.

Just checked under the steering column, took orf the lower panel just to be sure it wasn't lurking and nope, I did however find all the alarm wireing that is hooked into the ignition like a bunch of demented spagetti so I tidyed that up so it wasn't a totaly wasted excercise, there were a couple of unused sockets that looked likely but I'm no auto sparks so WTF they are for I'm stuffed if I know , I need to see one thats already hooked in there to know wtf socket I'm looking for.

I don't think there is one , I've been after trying to get my daytime climate control and stereo lights brighter with no luck they'll come good in a car park thats dark but dim back down as soon as I'm in the sun, covering the dash sensor makes SFA difference in sunlight , there must be another sensor/s somewhere --it's friken annoying. if you do find out please post.

Ah Ha-- definately gospel , this from a publication that (in it's genre) has the worst art direction, worst type selection, worst photography,worst editorial, the list of worst is endless when it comes to this rag , it was recently sold, - just before it went broke, -I wish the new proprietor the best of luck with this dog imo they are going to need it.

I'd be interested in that too the last time I saw a pod survey concluding that the best filtration was with Apexi it later turned out the the survey was done by guess who--- ah hem, wouldn't have been Apexi by any chance-- yup.

Well so much for my new 2nd hand flaptop it's away at the fixers with its newly installed Kaspersky and WTFKs whatever else is on there for a hard drive total wipe and basics reinstall as apparently three and a half hours to do a scan is far from normal unless you have a drive the size of NASAs. You'd have to think I'd have learn't by now, don't buy cheap stuff from a mates mate, just because they're a mates mate, no matter how good they recon it is.

Thanks for the replys everyone, couldn't get onto SAU (no computer handy) so I ended up buying Kaspersky on the recomendation of the computer guys who are trying , I suspect in vain, to download the email and 'my computer' files from my previous much rooted hard drive. Anyone used Kasperky ? it seems to be very s-l-o-w and a bit resource hungry. To perform a full systems scan more than 3 hours first time and an hour and a half the second.

The hard drive on my computer has crapped out WTF knows why ? I don't , anywho I'm just about to receive a new laptop and will need to load up some anti virus stuff and as I know stuff all about this kind of thing I would be gratefull if anyone out there who does could recomend the best way to go. I was running Norton but it seemed to want all the computer to itself at times when updating though that could have just been the cheapo Hardly Normal Compaq I was using. I've been told that there is good free stuff available but I don't care if I pay for it as long as it works well . Any advice gratefully received .

Where abouts are you able to get the Sougi @60.00+tax from ? I want some for my next oil change. If you're thinking of Nulon Fast Flow fully synthetic 10x40--it ain't full synthetic and neither 97% of oils out there claiming to be "Full Synthetic" either. I gave Nulon away when the price went over $50.00 for 5lt and I found out it was'nt a syn anyway. I'm using Penrite HPR10 --10X50 semi syn $39.95 - 5lt.
