no doubt ..... everyone in perth knows certain a dyno that reads way high .... i wont mention the name as it isnt the right thing to do ... but all the perth guys knows where and who.
oh, i knew pauls run wasnt under a dogdy dyno, since this all went down a little while ago, when DD technicans came over. i think its commendable of them to clamp down on some people's desire to cheat the numbers for their own personal gain.
"Dyno Dynamic are forcing tough new Dyno procedures so they would not like to hear you comments. "
i heard these procedures have come in after it was found, by DD's own staff that some dynos had been tampered with . I might be wrong so i wont claim it as fact.
buster if you are Morg's mate as ur sig indicates congrats on the awesome time ... he told me about it.
in response to your question .... some people want dyno queens only. in no way am i suggesting anyone here is like that but thats one explanation.
maybe the rest of the package is lacking ... look at Donnon's ex soarer .... 300 plus rwkw in a manual soarer ... best was a 13.0 - very poor result, but the car just jept having issues.
im sure there are many more things then just that but theres a couple
most people cant its a shame most places dont reveal this info before making the sale.
autowatch does have a new alarm coming out with an inbuilt turbo timer, which might pass as legal (pending some testing)
once i talk to Sandro (autowatch rep for wa) ill let ppl know.
u can order the upgrade kit from autowatch if its still in stock --few new modules and new remotes.
heres the catch --- it makes the alarm illegal and it voids your insurance. this is due to the car being able to run without anyone in it.... a friend learnt the hard way.
in my opinion, its cool but can u afford to have no insurance.
