  1. this really annoys me that the local councils keep closing down all the facilities for enthusiasts and then have a whinge about "hooning" problems and too many people congregating in one area. they should damn well listen to the enthusiasts for a change, instead of the old farts who complain, and they might be able to solve the problem, instead of palming it off to another area so as they dont have to deal with it. stupid politicians, should all be kicked out. :flamed:
  2. Hi all, i am trying to post some pictures of my car in the for sale section but the file sizes are too big and therefore i cant post them. i was wondering if there was someone who would be able to host them for me or know of someone who can? any help would be greatly appreciated. they are all up approximately 4.2 Mb Rolla Boy
  3. Merry christmas everybody :aroused: oh yeah, and bump
  4. [i would question their authority to photograph you with a speed camera when you weren't speeding] the cameras can take a photo of whatever they like, it is often used when gathering intelligence on people who use the highway, or if there is a bikie group in town, they can get a photo of them all to check for warrants and stuff. they are only used in court if you are speeding. otherwise, damn fine effort and wish i had thought of it, really want to see the photo when it is up too. hahahahaha :headspin: if i were at the pub i would buy you a beer Rolla Boy
  5. Gravity, the price that i have placed on mine is an honest indication of the condition that mine is in. i have spoken to many people in relation to this and we all agree that this is a fair price given the age and miles. if you find something cheaper elsewhere, good for you, buy it instead. there will always be cars cheaper and dearer that the price on any given car, thats just the way it is. i know this and accept this, but as i said, the price on mine is a fair evaluation given the age and miles and options.

  7. hi guys and girls, am looking to buy a 31 in the near future and i have come across a very nice series 3 shilloete 89 model. it is auto with 269k's on it. it is very straight and looks like it just left the factory inside, even coning with the factory headphones for the back seat. it has simmons wheels on it and is in a car yard. however, the price surprised me as it is a bit higher than i thought was reasonable at $5999. does this sound right??????? any help would be greatly appreciated Rolla boy
  8. Try Automotive Technique in Kendor Street, Labrador. it is in the same drivways as Teak and Fancy Timbers. Ask for Jason. he has really reasonable prices, and he knows his Nissans. He can do just about anything with a car. Tell him Nathan sent you. Good luck with the search Rolla Boy
  9. That is one nice car, if only i had the money right now. i am in the market for a 31 but that is just beyond my reach. bugger. anyway, free bump Rolla Boy
  10. is the car still for sale, as i might be interested. just have to work out the logistics of getting there to inspect the car. anyway, good luck with the sale Rolla Boy P.S. if anyone has any of these or a series 3 sillo for a reasonable price please pm me as i am in the market for one.
  11. Man, Too bad you arent in qld, as i am in the market for a new car and that is one sweet ride!!! good luck with the sale. Rolla Boy
  12. What sort of car is it? it kind of looks like a hyundai accent in profile. looks cool though. but why would you bother?? Rolla Boy
  13. the inspector said it all when he said: "They [drag racers] generally don't like to congregate on highways. They tend to choose the back streets where there are less cars so they can race up and down the street freely" doesnt this show that they are at least thinking about waht they are doing and trying to do it in a spot that will pose the least risk to society. making sure that innocent persons awould not be affected by their actions (except for the noise pollution)? dont get me wrong, i dont condone what they did for a second, but surely the police were over reacting a bit when they went over ever car that was there. at least the "p" plater had enough sense to do it in an industrial area where there were less cars and things to hit. I do agree with Damo when he says that a squirt off the lights never hurt anybody, as it is over in a very short period of time and they never usually exceed the speed limit. just my 2 cents Rolla Boy
  14. Man thats screwed. I live in River Downs and travel that road quite a lot. will keep an eye out. glad to hear that you are ok. the ony thing with speeding is that if the cops catch you, they will try and say that you were racing or hooning, and thus confiscate your car. i guess it means that the cops are involved but it is a bad thing to have to do. once again gald you are ok Rolla Boy
