  1. those rims look great! IMO the dark grey suits the white brilliantly.
  2. Congratulations on a great buy mate!! Hard to find a PREMIUM manual, let alone a BLACK one.... Good on ya, I'm sure you'll have tonnes of fun! I'm currently on a Fujitsubo exhaust ( came imported ) but yeah it has a nice, unintrusive growl to it.
  3. Requesting for Group Buy No. 2!!!!! Count me in, $280 shipped is a great price! I'm in Melb too, though! Good going, BLISTIC!
  4. FoxV35, kindly change my colour to MATTE GREY please!! I'm fickle-minded 1. FoxV35 (BLUE) 2. moomoolulu (BLUE) 3. danny_tg (BLUE) 4. BLISTC (RED) 5. Siglapian (MATTE GREY) 6. MILLOS (BLUE) 7. V35 Matt (RED)
  5. Are the G35 engine bays the same as ours? Are our batteries to the left or to the right? PS. I would like black in colour if possible, if not red. Cheers!
  6. I would be very interested!! Please add me in! USD115 shipped for a custom kit is a lot cheaper than the Pivot Volt Stabilised I was initially planning to buy...
  7. Sorry, but the buddyclub looks like it works exactly like the sprint booster. FYI, the sprint booster when sold about 3-4 years ago for my cousin's GTi also had a "try before you buy" promotion, because participants are easily convinced that their car seems to have much improved throttle response, akin to installing a much lighter crank pulley or something. But anyway this buddyclub throttle reponse box looks like the throttle response can turned on and off and can be adjusted to your liking, so it seems much better buy than the sprint booster. How much is it going for? A sprint booster used to be sold for $400 for almost any e-throttle car.
  8. Yeah yeah I think I know what you are talking about!... A very slight rattling noise that is over in less than 2 seconds? Sounds like something from the gearbox. Only occasionally comes out during the first movement of the day, even though I warm up my car before moving off....
  9. Sweet thanks for the pics and the quick reply Yo-yo... didn't expect to see a Pivot Volt Stab. there! Will definitely look into getting that for my car, and it's a very reputable Japanese brand too...
  10. Yo-yo: Where did you get the grounding wires from? Was it from some of the vendors over at g35driver.com? And did you install it yourself?
  11. My cousin used to have a Sprint Booster on his Golf GTi Mark V. The only thing it did was amplify the throttle response - meaning, if you depressed the accelerator at a normal 20%, it will amplify it to maybe 50-60%, making your car "feel" like it has improved throttle response. However, I feel that it is a total waste of money and just a placebo. You can easily depress the throttle to 50-60% yourself and get the acceleration required. It increases fuel consumption and is too sensitive for accurate throttle control when you are hitting the apex of a turn. Anyway my cousin enjoyed his sprint booster on his GTi for awhile then regretted buying it and sold it away.
  12. Japay: Give us a review after installation and some pics!!!
  13. dannyw: I would be interested in your z tube! where are you located? I'm in melb... I can't send PMs until I've had ten post counts? $%&^!
  14. Thanks Chris, once again you've saved the day! You're like the V35 superhero!
  15. Thanks for all the replies!! My button works fine, it can move in all directions and can control the TV. Can someone confirm that the button does or does not illuminate in the first place? Cheers... Now question 2, which I forgot to add earlier.... What is this cable for? It's in my centre console. Thanks once again!
  16. My "Enter" button for my SatNav TV fell off one night. I stuck it back in, but now it won't illuminate a nice soothing yellow glow like the others! Firstly, is it supposed to be backlit in the first place? Or did I lose a bulb or a diode? What can I do? PS. The above picture was not taken by me. I just edited it to make things clearer. Thanks!
  17. Sweet thanks for all the hookups, guys! See ya on the road!
  18. Hi all, I've just recently purchased a 2004 V35 Auto. Fantastic car! Used to drive a Subaru Forester Turbo, NA RWD is sooooo different. I've read through the threads on immobilisers and keys - thanks Chris Rogers and others - but it still didn't really show what or who can be done to fit Australian Standard Immobilisers in our cars. As my anti-theft insurance demands it, does anyone know of any shops in Melbourne who can fit immobs in our V35s? You can PM me if inconvenient, and adding the price and model would be great. Thanks!!
