So here's an update guys, Dropped by meridian motorsport in morrabin to talk to brenton. Basically explained that the amount of height adjustment I want will involve alot more then simplu custom rails. He explained that because the front half of the rail rail is pretty much bolted to the floor, I'll have to cut out and lower the floor as well as a custom rail to suit. At ~$1000/per side inc seat adjustable seat rail, it's definitely a expensive mod. I'll see what davis brown has to say and check back again.

Mick from micolour wants upwards of 13k for a respray of a car. If that gives you an idea how much he charges.

Only nissan would know i guess Well the point is to have custom made rails so the seats will be of use to me. But ill let ppl know if things dont work out and i need to sell them.

unfortunately not the same mate. i dont know why nissan decided it but the GTT is different to all the other skylines both floor mounting and seat mounting.

How tall are you yourself john? Do you have alot of headroom with the nzkw rail? Were your blades purchased down here in aust? or were they the nzkw variant? I've got the blades sitting in the house bit also managed to score some real oem seats as well. I guess it depends on which will work bettter and what I can possibly sell off. Bit you'll have to be more spesific on where in NZ I could buy these rails. I just got in touch with Moridian Motorsport and brown davis which were both very helpful. Organised a time in person to get quoted up next week. Will Let u know how I go. Very excited.

I've managed to purchase some r34 gtr seats which I was hoping to use, but like others have mentioned, won't bolt in due to the design of the r34 gtt. New bride seats might be a bit to pricy for me ATM so I think my only option is a custom rail. I'll try get intouch with the 2 shops you mentioned to see where I'm at. How much height could u shave off the oem rail is the question. I have a feeling not alot at all. But I'll check the fab section regardless. Hi Guys, Being 2m tall i find myself either scraping my head on the roof of my skyline or riding around fat pizza style with the seat reclined all the way down. This isnt working for me anymore as it has started to give me back pain on long drives. And forget about a helmet. I have a hard time keeping the gel in my hair instead of the roof. What do people do to get a lower ride height? I know Bride make low posiion seat rails that lower by 30mm but id prob be looking at something alot more. Some others have suggested bolting the seat to the floor. But i dont like the idea of not having adjustable seats and what issues would i run into with the boys in blue if i did do this? Any solutions would be great.

Gosh man that must be a nightmare. When i got home from work and opened up the mailbox to see a envelope from EPA . . . . my heart sunk and i was preparing for the worst. A full engine rip out and buying a new rb25 to put back in. To my relief it was just a noise test. I dont know how much longer i can go driving a car like this lol.

sorry alex let me be more spesific, I dont want to draw attention to the fact that im running semi slicks, a top mount turbo ect, A noise tester wouldnt be concerned about this stuff right? Nor should he ask to see the engine?

Any "lenient" testers you recommend nismoid? Although i have to replace my whole exhaust system, i just dont want any further issues with anything else. If thats even possible. BTW ive been thinking about a racepace exhaust, do you recall what the ball park price they charge? Been calling them 2 times a day for the last 2-3days but no one ever picks up or even returns my calls =[

they printed me out the following list. http://www.epa.vic.gov.au/noise/testers.asp And said i coudl take it to any one. I dont think its a full epa, just a noise test. No defect or RWC.

Hi Guys, Just my luck i recieved a Noise Test request from the EPA. Thank god its not a full epa since im running a topmount with the rb30 inside. But i just wanted to be 100% sure, is the simple process of just showing up to a tester, getting it tested then giving the Certificate of Compliance to the EPA? No need to show the car? Also, should i be worried about chucking the OEM r34 GTT exhaust back on with the amount of modifications i have done to the engine? (eg, gt35r, rb26/30, custom vband dump, ect) no chance of me damading the engine due to back pressure right? Obviously i wont be on WOT but what about the actual test at 4800rpm?

What dictates the use of either Titania or Zirconia? Surely its not based on the ECU.

Garret gt35r Single 02 signal point in dump. Power fc d jetro mafless. Currently there are no sensors on the car. It was tuned without one. However it runs very rich on cruise which is why I'm tryna get a sensor on it. I've contacted NTK japan to confirm the following part numbers as both square and rectangle sensors for the 32/33 gtrs R32/R33 Rb26 Front Sensor - NTK OTD2F-P1P R32/R33 Rb26 Rear Sensor - NTK OTD2F-P1L1 Will check back when I hear from them and I'll try get more pics tm

Thanks so much for your advice Owens. However I need to point out I'm running a big single as apposed to twins. Also isn't there any plugs that plug directly into the rectangle rather then stripping an modifying? I was just simply thinking about buying a square sensor and a rectangle sensor. Pluging one into the dump pipe (pic above) then splicing into that same 02 sensor with the other one so both 02 sensors read the same. Would this work?

Im in the middle of getting a new 02 sensor for my setup as well. It seems that on cruise my car is running very very rich. My current setup consists of. R34 GTT Chassis R33 RB26 engine + wiring loom I have 2 square like plugs for the 02 sensor in the engine bay, but after reading some stuff in this thread i realized theres a 02 sensor after the cat as well? I guess first thing first, What kind of 02 sensor will i need for the "Front" will i need a rb26 one or a rb25 plug will do fine as well? Recommended brands or shops i can purchase from? Sold these a few months back but buyer fell through. Havnt updated this thread in a while so they are back up for sale.

AAC is fully wound in and no go for te power fc settings. I think I'll try to replace the cold start valve.

Ill give it a go on the way to uni later today. Heres a picture of what its set to atm.
