wow 2G.. it really seems like you have not gotten alot of cooperation from cops in the past... and that is definitely bad news... especially when its as serious as that when the law can't help you, where are you supposed to turn? it certainly explains your attitude and lack of faith towards them...

hmm.. just saw the clip... i really think the guys were just trying to act all tough and macho for the camera.. they probably didn't know that was how aca would portray them... *shrug* i wonder if they would have been quiet and sedate if the camera wasn't there, or would they have acted the same way! I'm still in semi agreeance with 2GU UP and i wonder what the cops said or did when the camera wasn't rolling (or what was edited out), but they looked like they weren't trying to provoke any arguments... the bit at the end where they are singing and the window on the cop car goes up.. there are so many other ways that could have ended... it just looks like the cops maintain their cool quite well... hahaha... and the girls... yeahhhh.... reminds me of fast and the furious did anyone see aca tonight?!

:werd: and my thoughts: I don't know what the leb community goes through in terms of cop harrassment.. but won't you be the better man, if you keep your cool, treat the cop you are speaking to with respect? Won't that break the vicious cycle? If lebs keep disrespecting the cops, then they will get disrespect back... and vice versa... even when faced with a cop thats on a power trip, the best way to get under their skin (and anyones for that matter) is to keep your cool... show them that they don't get to you.. that you are a law abiding citizen and that you want to co-orperate.... being a smart-ass will get you, and the rest of the car community, nowhere... and if you do honestly believe that the cop(s) are going out of their way to harrass you... then get some badge numbers... report them... talking back is not going to change anything... but reporting it might... if there are enough complaints on one cop... someones bound to notice...

:werd: there is always two sides to any story, and the media being the media has most likely misrepresented the whole story! and its not just against lebs... its against any hi performance car driver... i didn't see the aca story, but it sounds like the lebs are in the wrong there... only because they went off at the cops on camera! here is a perfect oppoutunity to show you can be reasonable, to show the community that the sterotype is wrong and to force the police into showing their true colours (if they were on a power trip)... but they didn't... instead they acted like the media portrays them - as hoons.... it would have been nice if both sides could be captured and sent to aca! it'll give them something real to report!

i've bene out there! i LOVE that track! but at the moment i suck at it!!! i'm only doing 1:19:03 and thats with me timing myself on my phone while driving! so who knows how accurate it is i've been out there about 3 times! First two times - crap tyres all round.. third time i had decent tyres and the back and shit ones still on the front (stock measurements for all tyres). Silv - i've only changed my brakes once in the three times i was out there, and my tyres once... but i haven't been going all out! Had a chat with Abobob ( ) and his car is stock compared to mine which is almost stock! so i figure i just don't push my car hard enough! will be back out there within the month with sway bars and more aggression!! fingers crossed i get close to 1:15s
