i have trust t517z 8cm. i like it. strong mid range power. peak power also not bad. here is some info from a old thread. 517Z's(not mine), 2860R, HKSGT2530@24psi and 2860R on std manifolds@26psi my t517z 8cm on 20psi. At 95km/h, 85kw 95kw 90kw 85kw 111kw At 112km/h, 105kw 140kw 130kw 130kw 208kw At 128km/h, 155kw 240kw 200kw 200kw 275kw At 145km/h, 255kw 305kw 296kw 317kw 305kw At 160km/h, 330kw 325kw 315kw 350kw 340kw At 178km/h, 360kw 350kw 355kw 361kw 343kw At 194km/h, 365kw 358kw 372kw Chart stops 2 more timing = 370kw. but more knock, i don't want it. with the 343kw tune the knock only go up to 18.(no idea on track) different support mods also make the power different:) i know t517z is not bb turbo, but my t517z has done 35000kms on it, still running strong. hope you can find right turbo

new result: 385.9hp on 1.1bar 463.2hp on 1.45bar mods update: 94mm trust catback 2*044 pump 3L surge tank sard fuel reg tomei fuel rail (ps: I have read some old topic, someone said 517Z's make 155kws at 128km/h, my t517z is a lot better than this,and i'm sure this is not a highread dyno)

I'm worry about the ceramic inserts. they are not very strong. and there are some BMW 135i got problem with the ceramic inserts(but they all have aftermarket pads) so with these ceramic inserts, can I use aftermarket pads???? do you have some brake kit for R34GTR???

can you just have a look, does the piston made by full steel or ceramic top??? a lot porsche use ceramic top on the piston.

i don't know. but my car is almost done 50000kms. and nismo fuel pump maybe done about 30000kms. not very old. normaly if the cat shut down half hour, the fuel pump and fuel etc`` should cooler, and afr should getting richer. but no idea why its getting leaner. i guess because the fuel pressure changed.

yeah its possible, but the the fuel pump was ok last time on dyno,(about 2 or 3week ago) the afr still adjustable on 1.3bar. and afr is 11.5. this time's tune is also ok before break, the afr:12, but after the break the car run on the same dyno again, the afr is go up to almost 13. confusing.

yeah, I think if just for street use, its ok, but no track. i have forged pistons.

I already older a sard one, hope this one is working. and i don't think the problem is the fuel pump. because it was working fine on 1.3 bar,(AFR is about 11.5) and still some room to adjust. no point run out of the fuel pump if only add 3 or 4psi. and even stay on 1.3bar its still leaner than before.

are you sure 12.8 is safe?? most people run 11.5-12.5

I'm using the turbosmart fuel reg, and pfc.

the car tuned for 360kw on 1.5bar, top end of afr is 12, than the car shut down for half hour and run on the dyno again. without tune the top end of afr become 12.8. and tuner can't go any lower, because its runing out of the fuel pump. but before break is fine?? because the afr is too lean, so we drop the boost to 1.4bar on road. no idea about the afr, but tuner said it will be safe on 1.4bar. the knock is all good. no higher than 14. anyone know the reason??? i got a nismo intank fuel pump.
