  1. Spotted a white 33 GTST in the shithouse traffic on springvale road today. Driving next to me for a few km's

I've been Spotted! :) I remember it like it was yesterday, hehe

  2. Strange... Turbo car likes a freeflowing exhaust after the turbo.... engine gets its backpressure from the turbo.... Big exhaust in a N/A car and you don't have enough backpressure + exhaust speeds are too low and it'll work against you. Correct? (very simplified obviously)

I bought my GTS-T with a 3.5" catback on it, got it switched to a stocky for EPA test and it felt so restricted.... bout the same low down, but high range and it struggled.

  3. *sigh* I'm feeling a little sickened by these videos... and taking your car to the track without the knowledge to do it safely is just dangerous...

Almost reminds me of the The land of goat sphincter rings Airlines that are banned from Netherlands Airports because they have no safety standards (only taking minimum fuel and thinking that requesting emergancy priority landing every time they hit a headwind is acceptable)

  4. Hi guys,

Was hoping you'd be able to recommend an amp for me (and also any other suggestions for the other components that I've chosen) for a new install into my R33 gts-t 2dr.

So far I've come up with:

    Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-P5150UB

    Fronts: Focal 165VR

    Rears: Focal 165CA1

    Sub: Soundstream PW-10

Amp: ????? (4 channel to run the fronts + sub)

I'm not after massive bass, I'm not into that anymore.

I'm clearly after quality over quantity, but still have the occasional ability to blast my passengers senseless (not just with Bass though)

Does anyone have any suggestions for a fitting amp? Not really looking to spend more than $500 or so, since the rest of the install is painful enough for me, lol.

    Thanks in advance,

    Simon

  5. hey guys just lookn for some anodizers to anodize my rb26 covers. tried yellow pages but very few around. and would like to know if anyone has had any experience and recommend anyone?

Where abouts in Victoria are you?

My company uses "Collins Anodic Treatment" in Station Street, Blackburn, they are pretty good at what they do.
