  1. Hey guys, Chasing an R34 Aircon Fan&Shroud, Splitfire Coilpacks, R34 Auto Trans Cooler. Don't mind used items but hoping for items in good condition. If anyone has any of these (prefer WA but don't mind interstate if willing to post) please help a brother out. Please no crackpipe prices! PM me or 0406677771.
  2. Hey guys, Mates car was just stolen from Allstar Garage in Malaga - Plates 1DLM981. Its a white Bugeye STI, has black GMAX rims and some different LED rear tail lights. Can you please keep a look out! Report to police or call if you see it 0428 611 611.
  3. These are direct fit: http://www.nengun.com/east-bear/sigma-reclining-seat-rails Maybe visit a shop that has bride seats/rails and check to see if they will bolt up. I'd be going super low rails too, the seats with standard rails sit pretty high up (IIRC).
  4. Hey, have my old rims up for sale Finally got around to putting the Time Attacks on the evo and am keeping them. Excuse the filth, these pics are from when the car was being shipped over from J. 17 x 8 +38 wrapped in 235/45/17 97N Westlake tyres. Bought the tyres brand new for compliance. 95% tread. They are multistud - 5 x 114.3 and 5 x 100. Tyres have 2 massive water channels in the tread pattern and they grip ok for what they are. 2 of the rims have slight gutter rash, which I have pointed out in the pics below - the yellow dot on the tyre is where the rash is. Will get some better pics once I have cleaned them up a bit more. Missing Centrecaps also, clear evo brembos. PRICE: $1500 posted anywhere in Aus! PM me or Text 0406677771.
  5. They do fit, but fuel rail needs to be modded to fit them pretty sure. Plus GTNAH has a set of them for $500 brand new.
  6. I was in a similar situation before, was looking at private vs importing. Ended up importing through Iron Chef. Everything was smooth and he is awesome to deal with. Few little quirks but that was not his fault at all, everything was back on track quickly! Glad I imported through him, car has been checked out by a local Evo specialist shop and they reckon its one of the better 7's they've seen. I'm now in love with it Only thing that turned me off purchasing interstate was that the money needs to be paid up front and its virtually the same as importing besides being a lot quicker. You also have to budget in stock parts for the car as most are modified in one way or another. Also probably costs more purchasing a car compared to importing. Importing allowed me to save money while the car was coming over to pay for insurance, rego, stamp duty, insurance etc.. Also person I know bought a 33 GTR interstate, saw it in the flesh. Purchased it, dropped it off at the depot. Picked it up at the Perth Depot. Drove it around for about 30 mins. Gearbox went clunk, opened the gearbox and 3rd gear was smashed. Was fine before it left and had only 2km difference in odometer readings before and after picking it up.
  7. R34P3R, Just buy the NISMO dash and gauges Then change all the leds to red to match it !!
  8. Have a full set of Project Kics Bronze Lock Nuts off my 34, they don't fit my evo so want to get rid of them. They look like this, they are all in excellent condition and come with the box! Bought from Vision R a bit less then a year ago. $150 + $20 postage Also have a set of nuts that came with my Gram Lights, think they are Rays Lug Nuts but unsure. They are black. They have quit a lot of scratches on them but you can powdercoat them to any colour you want. $40 + $20 postage PM or Text 0406677771 Located in Perth, WA. Can SMS pics.
  9. Those 2 both look like they are in immaculate condition. I would probably go the black one though, has a few more goodies and the rims look hot.
  10. 1) You are referring to a Nistune which is not a Nismo Tune and has no affiliation with Nismo what so ever. 2) You should really choose a shop to do the tune that you trust and take their advice and use whatever ECU they feel the most comfortable tuning with. 3) Nistune is a daughterboard which works in conjuction with your stock ecu where as PowerFC and Vipec's are full replacement ECU's. 4) If I was you, I would just go the nistune. Cheapest, unless you are going to fiddle around with the tune (PowerFC) or need extra options e.g Antilag etc (Vipec). 5) You should probably talk to more shops and then make a decision or you have got the information you just stated wrong. See the consolidated workshop thread. Hyperdrive, Kensei Garage, Allstar Garage & C-Red all do Nistunes and yes Nistunes do work on R34s.
  11. Stolen off injector.com What is impedance? Impedance is the electrical resistance of the electromagnetic coil inside the injector. This is measured in ohms and can be determined with an ohmmeter. Injectors are classified as either high-impedance (also known as “saturated”) or low-impedance (known as “peak and hold”). High-impedance injectors usually range from 11 to 16 ohms of impedance, while low-impedance injectors usually range from 0.7 to 5 ohms of impedance (these impedance numbers are based on what is currently available in the consumer market and are subject to change). Most OEM engine computers are designed to control high-impedance fuel injectors. Low-impedance injectors are generally preferred for racing or ultra-high performance use because they respond more quickly, but aftermarket engine controllers are usually required to control them.
  12. I don't see where he mentions that.. Agreed on calling / getting perth store on recommendation for aftermarket bov + installing it.
  13. Will be pretty hard to source solenoid on its own. More luck trying to buy a cheapy second hand unit. You sure its the solenoid that's the problem? Should probably go and try someone elses to see before forking out more cash. Where was the car taken to get tuned?
  14. Leave the standard BOV that's on their at the moment if its not causing you any problems.. No point in getting an aftermarket one as most people buy them for the different noises they make. Plumb back makes hardly any noise, so defeats that purpose.
  15. Siemens are the injectors that were floating around on ebay a while back. They weren't a direct drop in injector for the R34 and needed a modify fuel rail to fit IRC. Got this info from here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...html&st=100 P.S have no idea if the results in your pic are good or not Genuine Siemens / Mototron DEKA IV High Impedance Injectors These injectors flow 60 lbs/hr at 43.5 PSI ( 3 BAR ) and up to 85 lbs/hr at 87 PSI! In addition, these units are high-impedance. Despite the high flow rate, they are linear and controllable at low pulse widths and have been used in ULEV applications! This allows you to use a larger injector than normally possible without hurting idle and low speed driveability. Adding to the flexibility of application, these units are high-impedance; making them compatible with most ECUs, while delivering the most flow available in a High-Impedance injector. These injectors are able to function at high fuel pressures and don't exhibit the high fuel pressure handling problems found with many other high flow high-impedance injectors. This makes these injectors very well suited to turbocharged and supercharged applications that see high fuel system pressures. Engine performance and running quality are enhanced through the optimized spray pattern. Unlike competitors "pencil stream" high flow injectors; these High Flow injectors utilize a multi-orifice tip providing a true 30 degree spray pattern for improved mixture preparation. This results in lower BSFC and better idle quality than many injectors with less flow.
  16. You need to check what bulbs are in it at the moment. It will be either H1 or D2R bulbs in there depending on what they changed them to at compliance. Then depending on which bulb you have (D2R or H1) just buy a HID kit for that bulb. The kits usually comprise of a ballast and the actual HID bulb itself. You can buy them off ebay, which are usually china knock offs, or through the vendors / group buys that are done on here and normal jap workshops. Best if you just take your car to a workshop and see if they can get HID's for you and find out what bulb you have. You can't even put a proper paragraph together so I doubt you'd be able to wire up a HID kit. P.S for the white light with blueish tint you'd want a 6000K hid. Or you can buy the original xenons for your car off someone on here if there's one for sale.
  17. Your car is heaps nice aswell. Just needs more dish on the front rims and LOWER! haha
  18. Wow that looks pretty fkn aggresive man. You should buy them for your car. Just needs to be black, not a fan of the colour but may look better irl. Suprised the rears didn't rub, my 18 x 9.5 + 22 would rub at the back with the guards not rolled with 1 passenger.
  19. Would I be able to get mine changes to Traitor or Traitor7 Does this affect the login name also? cheers
  20. Not trying to be mean or anything but one would think that a year old fuel can't be good for the car - stale or not? Don't know how true that is though. I would definitely do a full service - change the oil / filter since that has been sitting there too?
