  3. Im a maybe. Depends on work and baby but only live 5min away so should at least make an appearance
  4. Agreed I just prefer an awesome car that looks stock and cops leave along than a deathtrap old shitbox that gets defected when hood is popped is all
  5. people don't expect too much from a stock R32 GT-R these days, especially when other person is driving when driving a modified Evo or something. plus, making a crap heap look stock under the engine bay is hard, making 300-400rwkW with a stock looking RB26 is doable. I prefer the engine bay to look stock and sound quiet to cops so I know I can drive the car in peace. That's more sleeper than an old Corolla with a big engine in it. Why can't a sleep look good and be comfortable and handle well too?
  6. I think being a true sleeper the engine bay needs to appear stock and the car needs to be quiet. That way if u do get pulled over you dont get defected. Old cars that look stock but have 700hp generally dont sound stock or look stock under the hood. Real sleeper looks stock everywhere in my books
  7. Why do sleepers have to be ugly shiy boxes? My R32 GTR is a "sleeper" Has N1 bits, R34 wheels and R33 brakes Interior and engine bay look dead stock ad its super quiet. Cops dont look twice because they think its stock based on appearance and sound. Makes 300kW and is super fun! Will do full feature in Motive 17
  8. The ad sais it all but essentially there is a few parts to the event. 1 - Just Car Insurance Australian Drifting Grand Prix Top-16 Invitational This is a exhibition competition with 16 of Australia's best drifters. They will practice and qualify during the day and the competition will be held at dusk between 6pm-8pm. The new South Circuit layout will provide smoke bellowing door-todoor battles. 2 - South Circuit Launch Bash The South Circuit layout at Sydney Motorsport Park was never intended to be the perfect drift track, but it turned out that way, and the ARDC has now decided to allow drifting on the course, and this is the best way to celebrate. The three NSW drift clubs and ADGP have 15 spots each to invite drivers to be the first to drive the track. It's essentially an open practice, but with some of the best from NSW and around Austrlaia on track, their will be plenty of entertainment. We will also be organising various grudge matches to hold in between the ADGP Top-16 rounds, including people's choice. If you are interested in drifting the South Circuit, you need to contact Driftmob, DriftNSW, Driving Sports or ADGP 3 Drift Festival ANYONE in ANY car can enter the Drift Festival on the Figure-8 "Peanut" Track and Wet skid pan, of which will have a new custom course on it. The entry fee is $180 for 9 hours of drifting, from 9am-6pm. You can then go and enjoy the night competition at the South Circuit. Entry forms can be found here: http://trackbattle.c...stival_2013.pdf 4. All Stars Car Show The guys from All Starts will be running a car show on the day. More info soon. 5. 12. Hey everyone. ADGP Round 2 is on Fuel TV tonight at 8.30PM EST There is repeats tomorrow and Saturday and we will be putting the show on our youtube channel within a couple of weeks for those that don't have Foxtel.
  13. My wife gave birth the day before the event..... I was still there both days ( until just after lunch anyway )
  14. answered you own question there. Get one!!!! Engines are designed from factory to run at an optimum oil temp. Increased power means more heat, so more oil temp. Personally, I run an oil cooler on EVERY modified car I own and have ever owned. Better to be safe than sorry
  15. A dead stock car needs an oil cooler for track work But if u have increased power, it can be good for a street car too. Install an oil temp gauge first and see if its neccessary
  16. Were aiming to have it finished mid Sep and stary deliveries 2 weeks later. More we sell, the more editors i can afford to put on it and get it done faster
  17. We're putting together a WTAC special edition DVD. We're taking pre-orders now and the more we get, the bigger and better the DVD can be! Can order here: http://www.motive.bigcartel.com/product/2012-yokohama-world-time-attack-challenge-special-edition-dvd-pre-order
  18. OK, JET200 is getting kinda quick so its time to upgrade the brakes. These brakes are great for a street car and quick track car, but car has outgrown them. Car hs run a 1:37.8 around EC and 1:02 around Wakefield, so clearly they must work OK Have done bugger all work. Track only and maybe a total of 30 hard laps at Wakefield and 20 at EC. Never a problem with them. Front: Wilwood 6-piston Superlite kit. Comes with: Wilwood 6-piston Superlite calipers Wilwood 324mm 2-piece rotors ( have plenty left ) Wilwood adaptor ( will go onto S13,S14,S15, R32 GT-R and GTS-t skylines ) Wilwood braided brake lines Project Mu Clubracer pads ( have literally done 5 laps of Eastern Creek ) Brand New Wilwood race pads 2nd hand Project Mu H16 pads Asking $1600 Here it is: http://www.wilwood.com/BrakeKits/BrakeKitListFront.aspx?mincatdesc=Superlite%206%20Big%20Brake%20Front%20Brake%20Kit%20(Hat) Rear: Brembo R34 GT-R N1 2-piston caliper ( larger, like 350Z) DBA 4000-series 322mm slotted rotors ( 350Z track ) Project Mu HC+ pads ( have more thaN 50% left) Nismo braided brake lines I used these in conjunction with a hydrualic handbrake so I dont have any of that cable handbrake stuff. Up to you to make it work Asking $1200 Would sell the lot for $2500. Thats a cheap upgrade!!!!! Will also throw in bottl of Castrol SRF motorsport brake fluid
  19. I bought two sets of wheels for JET200 but realised, its a bit excessive so have decided to sell one of the sets. A pair of 18x10+15mm used set for the front in good condition. Been used for one track day A pair of 18x11+10mm brand new in the box. The 10s cost $612.50 each from Autotechnik ( where I go them ) And the 11s are by order only and cost over $750 each new ( as these ones are ) After $2100 for the lot. Essentially your paying for 3 and getting 4th free Pick up in Silverwater NSW or post at buyers expense
  20. Hey guys Due to upgrading wheel size on JET200 I now have a set of 18x9+15 AME wheels for sale, same design as what is on Cyber Evo. Size makes them perfect for a street GT-R and with some front guard rolling/lipping will fit GTS and SIlvia. Also fit Evo great too. They've been used for maybe 3 track days and the tyres have 70-50% left on them after I bought them new a year a go. Get at least 2 track days out of them. Wheels cost around $2400 new, or $1920 on special ( which ended in June anyway) and tyres are over $450 retail each. I'm chasing $2000 for the lot. WIll only separate when have buyers for tyres and rims.
  21. All this talk of how mich faster the track is, ting to Boz and Luffythwy said .2 seconds a lap, maye .5 Some bits have better exit but new surface i places has leas grip. Conditions on the weekend ( wind alone, not cold temps), meant same car back to back would be the same. We lost top speed this year, even with more power and 6-speed due to extra aero and possibly the winds, but Aero mostly Spoke to some pro drivers. They said. Nemo is like a wing car ( openwheeler ) but with bits of an evo body around it. Its top speed is low due to retarded amounts of down force. No braking for turn 1 is mental! Crazy car! I doubt Japanese will return to take it on as it would cost over a million to take them on
