Hey guys, I'm interested in buying a R32 GTR. Any problems with this car that I should no about or any tips and etc? I've seen lots that have rebuilt engines, does this mean that I shouldn't buy one that doesn't have a rebuilt engine? I hope their not like rotarys which needs to be rebuilt every 100,000kms...

I live in New Zealand and R33 manual GTS25t's here are around $10,000NZD with around 100,000kms and some mods. I checked on Carsales.com.au and most of the ones on there are around $15,000AUD! WTF I bought my auto series 2 gts25t for $4700NZD with 122,000kms!

Boost mod works well for auto.

I've got the same problem on my S2 GTS-T LOL.

How much did you buy the car for? How many KM's has it done?

I'm getting my car fixed at the panelbeaters and they said they got a replacement front bumper and said it had a spoiler on it. I think it looks like this one: My stock one: Should I get the one with the spoiler on it or the stock one? I really don't know LOL.

It seems that some R33's have sideskirts which are welded on and some R33's have the removable ones where you can remove the screws on the ends of the sideskirts to remove it. Is it possible to remove the sideskirts on the welded ones? I want to get some GTR R33 sideskirts and I have the welded sideskirts

There's a knocking sound on my GTS25t and I don't know what it is. I hope it's not a rod bearing . The noise happens when I'm around 1200rpm and stops when I go higher then 1600rpm. I'm using Castrol Magnatec 10w-40 and BP Ultimate 98 octane. Heres a link to a video I made showing the problems.

What uses more petrol? A stock GTS25t or a stock Evo?

I'm in Auckland, NZ and I want to upgrade the stock exhaust system on my GTS25t. I'm on a very tight budget and don't want to spend over $600 NZD on a exhaust system. Do you think this second hand HKS exhaust is good? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=212405409 Seller does not know what model it is but do you think $350 for a used HKS exhaust system is a good price?

Ok I bought some CRC MAF cleaner to clean the AFM but umm.... I can't find the AFM LOL.

When the car is warm, sometimes the idle is fine but sometimes it fluctuates between 900-700rpm... Very annoying at intersections... Will change the air filter cause it's dirty as f**k and clean AFM today.

Hey guys, I just bought a GTS25t and I am having a few problems. Firstly when I turn the key to ACC, there is a clicking noise that is coming from the heater vents (I think). The noise last for 12 seconds and goes away. This only happens at the start when I turn my car on acc. Secondly, I have a fluctuating idle problem. On a cold day, when I start the car, it will go around 900rpm then fluctuate then stall. If I tap the accelerator, the revs will climb up to 1500 rpm and fluctuate but not stall. When the car is warm, the idle will fluctuate between 900-700rpm and sometimes it will run good. I've already tried cleaning the AAC for the idle problem and it helped the idle a bit but this problem still persist.... I am cleaning the AFM tomorrow and I noticed that my air filter was DIRTY as f**k. Anyone know how to fix these problems?
