last night we played around with the pcv valve, checked for leaks and then adjusted the idle speed. It was sitting pretty low before (550rpm) now it is sitting at 650rpm and there are no more issues? I still want to find out what was causing it

Well it turns out it wasn't the alternator causing the stalling but i did have a problem with my alternator. The belts were worn out and squeeling so it wasn't charging properly. Apparantly the stalling should have something to do with the intake. Perhaps a leak somewhere. As I said the other day I cleaned out my AFM with AFM cleaner and reset the ECU so that won't fix it. The guys there recommended I try out Race Pace which I am sure you guys have heard of. Otherwise I found them friendly, they worked fast and charged a fair price so I would go there again Ilama_au

Yeah I go there, I always seen a white r34 sedan in the car park near the path going to the train station. I didn't drive the skyline today though. Rocked it out in my sisters excel... got a flat battery in the rain when i was going home.. yay

the car is getting checked out tomorrow finally thanks to the good lads at active auto elec in bayswater. Everywhere else was lame. The car has been sitting in my driveway and ive been driving my sisters excel as motivation to hurry up and get my car fixed.

I don't know if my car will be driveable for this I was looking forward to my first sau meet

I'm suprised that nobody has asked how this car is the "ultimate sleeper" like he says. I dare say there are quite a few cars on the road that would put it to shame without any effort. Unless it was a non turbo s13 with an rb26dett under the hood he forgot to mention.

Skyline conspiracy!

well I think it's the alternator still because my belt has been squeeling for a while, sometimes it turns over very slowly but always starts, when I turned my lights on the revs would always dip a bit. And yesterday after I reset the ECU and cleaned the afm the car was running okay untill I turned the lights on.
