  1. yep i know man might be easier selling and buying a manual ? when i first looked u couldnt get a good manual for under 24k... was just talking in general about M35's and that i dont think i'll ever own one.. hehe C34's FTW oh... that must mean u have leather interior ? *jealous*. i WAS thinking about modding my interior by finding a wrecked C34 with leather.. mmmm twin sunroof, manual, leather, black,. sexy.
  2. the M35's dont come in manual at all yeah ??? unless ur a conversion king i like the look of the C34's better anyway. i was always like... *sigh* normally getting a manual = less $$. unless ur buying a stagea then its well into the other direction.

  4. might have to get someone to help me out in this area, i'm a little bit limited in what i know (n00b ) i'm like a sponge at the moment.
  5. how do i know if its a stock turbo or not ? i've never had a turbo'd car b4 its all rather exciting
  6. yeah its a bit laggy down low, really opens up 4.5->6.5 , i was just a bit unsure as to why it wont get deep into the 'nice range' in 1st. maybe give SSV a call about it??? for my case i'm saying it came with the car stock standard from the dealer i didnt do the RW or register it. i'm not sure about if its a stock ECU i'll have a check tonight! checked my intercooler thismorning.... its a "Blitz" from what it says on it.
  7. it did feel more like a flat spot than a limit maybe.. i'll try and figure exactly where and when its happening! actually noticed a small exaust bandage after having a good look, would that be the source if its not sealed 100% ? i think its a 3" exaust system from the looks of it might have to get some help with this one i'm quite a n00b. it came with an aftermarket intercooler on the front, with nice shiny pipes aswell as an aftermarket pod filter and a BOV. i'll keep investigating..

  9. oh i just read a post about 5500 Rpms and the boost dropping... i'll have to keep an eye on my boost, my rpm and the road all at the same time so wish me luck haha ( or just get a friend to sit in and help )

  11. excuse my n00bness i only just got it last weekend! but.....here goes, with my SeriesII RSFour S when i'm in first, i can hit i think 5500ish RPM then it feels like it holds at 5500RPM, and i have to change gear.... then second will go past 5500... has that got something to do with the ECU limiting how far i can push it in first? or something else u think? Tomas.
  12. yeah i get alot of people looking at it.... bit of a change from driving around in something that gets 0 looks per drive. will have to check for the tattoo on the weekend my underground parking spot has minimal light and room !!
  13. u can obviously read japanese?? from what i can tell the previous owner has spent alot of money on it. makes the price i paid for it even better! i think i'm going to be making a list of all the things i can see is modified / non stock. might need some help as i'm pretty new to Stagea's!

  17. i'd love to come but i got something planned already i might have to pencil it in for next week? (weekly yeah?) i dont think i've spoken to another stagea owner before (well it is less than a week of owning one) im not exactly clued on about them, but hey! lots to learn
  18. i'd compare it to from riding a bike -> motorbike i rarely see other Stags around. although i've seen a grey one three times driving on boundary road when i go to band practice. (maybe i'm not looking in the right area!) id def be in for a cruise though!
  19. yeah i definately did i'm pretty stoked so far!, once i drove it i just couldnt help myself and had to get it. its abit of a change going from a 4cyl Daewoo Wagon to a Stagea i'm getting my alpine headunit and my Mongoose m80g installed Saturday located in Southbank!

  21. yeah thats the one! pretty much thats the condition of the sale, that it passes roadworthy / compliance. the thing is that i dont drive that often, and i'm gonna just go on the truth that "i bought it as is from a dealer, and it was complied and roadworthy how it is. you go and talk to them about it"! and i wont drive it like i stole it, so i'm sure i'll be fine! XD! i pretty much fell in love with it first look / drive! (i guess i could always "downgrade" the things that would catch canaries) *sigh* mmm happy almost into the realm of Stagea!
  22. hey i'm looking to purchase my first Stagea! the one i'm looking at is through a dealer (SSV Melbourne), and has been imported and complied by them. in japan its been modified a bit including a carbon fibre hood, air intake, muffler, and clutch. Is a blow off valve standard with a stagea? i'm pretty new to these cars i have had a test drive (mmm i loved it) and everything seemed fine, apart from a squeaky fan belt on startup, (which they assured me would be fixed when they get it complied / registered) any help / advice would be a great help Tomas.
