Oh shit. Hope everything goes well with the repair. Reading about all these unexpected things that happens to stagowners make me think about "gone in 60 seconds" - the unicorn that always want to make life hard, and we buy them and know they're untamable.

What is improved in this ecu compared with the standard one?

I got kind of pissed the first time they did it, but they were in for a total of 4 times. This is the parts they broke, the other is "only" paint. All over the car. I saw the wiperunit on ebay, and found some to buy in the nz. But I need to know if it is tha same as in the skyline, scince i know some skylines that's beeing wrecked over here, and then it will go much faster to get it installed so i can drive the car. Hello. I need to find where I can buy the interior frame that goes around the AC & stereo unit. My local nissan dealer can't stop laughing when i comes in, scince they don't know anything about the car, and only fint spareparts when i got the partsnumber. I found one set in a wrecking-thred, but doesn't get anwser, which is understandable when I asked for price including shipping around the globe. I've searched all over the world and can't find anyone who got one i can buy, so this is my last chance until i have to make it by myself, which usually doesn't look good. The reason i need it? Some stupid m****"¤#"&¤##/ kid thought it was fun to break into my garage, then inte the car and try to get the stereo out. And didn't succed. Oh, by the way, does the skyline and stagea share the "wiper and light unit" on the wheel? Need a new one after the visit.

Okey? What i've found when e read about it it was good for short drives, but not a day at the dyno. I thrust you in the same time i get curiuos how nissan could build a car that destroys the clutch if i fuse breaks. But i will take your advice and not pull it out.

You will learn to drive from the passengerseat (rhd), but if you know somone that can convert the R33GTR there will be no problem with the C34. There will be some customparts in the interior, but no major issue except the brake servo. You will have to cut some holes in the firewall, but nothing special. It's just a skyline, but a little better.

You are all ruining my thoughts. And I love you for doing it. I have a sticker on the coinbox, with a different setup. I tried to pull the 4wd fuse after i've read i can do it for a short time, but nothing happened. I wondered if i had got it wrong and it wasn't posible, but i must have a sticker for some other car... Thank you so much for sharing all the information in this forum.

wolverine: I have no problem with harder shifts or more wear. I'll guess the increased effect of the enginge will effekt that part to. What i want is get it to work at all, and follow the engine abowe the 300hp limit of the factory ecu. If understand everything right will the factory ecu play with the e-manage and will just be supported by the copgyback, but i can be very wrong in that. When i read the PFC thread they had a lot of trouble to get in work in a manual, and i haven't found anyone that succeded with an automatic. But I'm a newbie in tuning the stag, so I get a lot of thing wrong. chook: Got the first edition of the s1 (1996). I've found the S2 pinouts, and i've seen the thread about "duncan"s problems with the pfc. There shall be 3different types of pinouts just for the S1, in which i have the first one. So I need a datasheet like the one for the s2.

Hi I have searched all over the net, and mostly in this forum without any results, except dobt to every pinout i see. I've found out that the PFC is to complicated for me to install and make everything work with the auto transfer, so i've started looking för the E-manage Ultimate, but I need to know which cables I need to relocate. So where can i find an accurate pinout for the "23740-0V300" ECU? //Micke (I live in sweden and will not let the mechanics into my car, they are just to clumsy.)

Everytime i pull up to my friends nov they call my stag "volvo" or "740". =/ And it's only because i'm the worst volvohater you can find in sweden, and we got those things everywhere. Can't remember a day that i parked that i hadn't got a volvo beside me. =/

I want the auto transmission to be there when i'm finished. I know most of in will have to be changed, but i need a challange and a goal. What parts of the gearbox is controlled by the ecu? And how can i get them controlled sepratly? Do anyone got the pinout för the stagea ecu? I have found the pinout for a R34, but is it the same? What i've read in here there's som changes in the pinout. :S And i know there's a risk that the turbo will break, and that's a risk i will take.

So it's a power fc i need? Which make and model do fit? I've recognised that the R33 RB25DET got an other box. Is there any one that's "plug and play" or do i have to cut all wires and hope? Is there any way to manipulate the stock box? I know there's a really big jump at 200kw, where turbo, injectors and the ecu runs out and it will be a lot of money to get over that.

Sorry, my bad. The car i was against got ~220kW/1300kg. I got 173/1600. The things i have heard is that's possible to get ~200kW in the stag without big modifications. All i want to know is how high i can get with standard specifications, and how i do it. The goal is 372kW (500hp) so i will change almost everything, but not this year.

Hello. I know it's somewhere in this forum, but i can't find it. I've got the RB25DET engine and i have mounted an fmic and a bleed air valve. I have finally learned to get of the line with 0.8bar (~12psi), and the shifting 1-2-D goes smooth. But today when we were out to test i've got beeten by almost everyone with similar effect. I got 2-3 carlengths of the line, and a FWD with 300hp manage to get past me in 200meters. So how can i get the engine to give more hp with a very limited amount of money? (I know i need a larger downpipe, but the rest.) Is it possible to change the fuelmaps in the standard computerbox? I've tried to talk to people here, but noone knows anything about the car here in Sweden, so all i can do is ask you on the other side of the world for help.

This is how i did it. I cut 1cm out of the lower part of the front bar, and got no problem at all with the clearance. Total cost below 5000sek (approx 750 AUD)
