Hey people with aftermarket wheels what offset wheels do you have? +25,+0+17 etc Im thinking ill put on +17 wheels has anyone got pics of a car with +17 offset wheels on it? I just want to know if they will sit just inside or level with the guard? Also with lowering does anyone make superlows for r30s? rang burson and king can only do low. I want lower than that.. Only cosmetic stuff to begin with new wheels, front, (iron mask) side steps, and two tone paint etc it will look great you will see lol

KN R30 So Can a South African car be registered here in vic? i guess thats really all i care about right now can i get a road worthy and register this car in vic? also what paper work does the car need to have with it to make this happen? im well aware its to dear i dont need to be told this again lol

Update the “DR” is in fact a KN R-30? I don’t know this plate prefix can someone help? but he did say the tag says engine was L28 originally?

oh right sorry well it does not sell more to me cause its stroked, im thinking of it as a 2ltr anyhow and to be honest id prefer it was a normal fj but thats just me

Ok Now that really went on a tangent huh? anyway what i pay for it at this point is erelivant and my business, but the car is the Red 1983 car that is being called a "dr" (the Stroker with the r31 front bar) im aware it needs money spent and im ok with that, i wish to know though will it pass a RWC here in vic as ill need to give it one etc, i have an iron mask front i have side skirts i even have a couple of sets of facelift tail lights, but i dont have the car that goes in them lol i dont care about how it looks now if it was an hr or not as long as its road legal.. as its like trying to put a fire out with your fingers you will get burned! At the risk of giving away the ace up my sleve .. there is a red DR30 for sale in SA just put up on car sales yesterday its ugly ! but it seems cheep and im thinking i may buy provided it checks out this car was from melb do we know it? anyhow im getting more photos from the seller and im thinking it could be me! only problem i can see is that it does look as though its not a DR as its not facelift in saying that did any pre facelift DRs come into aus? or perhaps it ass ended someones landcruiser and they could not get the parts ? i dont mind if its had a whack as long as its a good repair fingers crossed posting this does not get it snapped up from under my nose or i may completely loose my faith in humanity lol also out of iterest anyone in SA happy to look at the car for me un baisly as im from melb it will be a flight then a drive i am aware that the bumper is wrong and the wheels are the wrong offset lol main things are really if there are any road legal issues Cheers Guys Marc

Sorry if perhaps im not clear enough with my description of what I want? I would like a car to play with and build so maybe a grannys old 2 liter auto hr or a body with no engine etc just something for me to work with ill consider anything because everything has a price but id like to spend a $1000 or less really for a sedan I am not after a finished car if I must spend more I must, but looking at r31s for a grand must mean there are r30s out there? There is a body at a you pick yard here in melb im looking at, but if there is something similar out there then great as something that goes would be more ideal (but it does not need to go well) just easier to get home lol, and please don’t tell me it wont happen cause that does not help I will consider anything

HMMMM you are correct i should take it easy sorry mag86, but i still think there is no need to add that to someones post.
