  1. yeah im planing on runnung vct and was going to use a 25det pump. i was also planing on running the gates 30det belt
  2. g'day i decided to build a 25/30 for my vl after seeing the results people on here have achieved quite cheaply on here parts i have sofar: rb25det s2 head - has bin welded and is getting machined and pressure tested atm. ebay rb25 highmount turbo manifold greddy copy plenum 6x bosch mec717 coil packs sard 660cc injectors microtech lt12s with x6 igniter and microtech loom for rb25 pro boost t66 turbo 1.00 rear 1.07 front (from memory) - may go for a 35/40 tial 42mm waste gate ebay intercooler with 2"-3"piping 3" vband dump pipe from turbo to cat 3" mandral bent exhaust malpasi fuel reg r33 gts-t gearbox brass button clutch surge tank new rear main seal to buy: head gasket head studs oil pump new water pump sump gasket 044 timing belt oil restrictors t3-t4 flange adaptor (or weld on t4 flange) there are other little things i have prob forgotten but ohwell. my plan is to use the rb30e bottom end that is in the car now, put in 1mm oil feeds and a new oil pump (which one should i use?) and bolt the head on with arp studs and a genuine nissan rb30et head gasket and hope for the best. any ideas how far i will get? im putting an rb30et in while im building the 25/30 just for fun later on down the track i may go all out with a full forget 25/30 setup using parts from this setup thoughts and opinions? cheers
  3. there are 2 vl 5spd boxes - the mf5 and the mx7. the mf5 is the non turbo box and the mx7 is the turbo box. the will both bolt up fine

  6. i saw a setup in i think it was an off tits turbo vs commodore a few years ago that had a massive esky in the boot filled with liquid nitrogen and the coolant was passed through a heat exchange in the box to cool it down
  7. my rb30e+t (high comp) is a massive fan of blow by lol. pops the dip stick out all the time, oil in the intake, fouls plugs, oil even seeps out of the sump and around the oil pump now aswell. putting a new rb30et in this weekend and pulling the old block down to build a 25/30 if it is still any gd
  8. thats prety shit man. iv bin at curtin for 3 years and iv never had any issues with vandalism with either cars or bikes iv parked here. hope it doesnt cost 2 much 2 fix. cheers

  10. picked up the keys i got cut yesturday thisarvo. only problem is that wen i pulled the door lock out something stuffed up and the door wont open now - luckily it doesnt have a lhs door so i was able to still get in the car lol. threw a battery in it and hotwired the imobiliser cuz i cbf coding in a new button thing yet and it started first turn of the key, didnt take it for a drive tho cuz it didnt have the afm so it wldnt rev and it didnt have a exhaust manifold and the battery was just sitting in the boot lol. also picked up the door and bummper for it 2 day. 2 bad i dont have time to work on it atm cuz of uni exams

  13. g'day i purchaced an r33 last week and its got a big crack through the windscreen. can u get them brand new from anywhere or where shld i be looking for a 2nd hand one? cheers
  14. got the car back to where its living today without any damage on the tow truck:) found a grill aswell as full airbox and most of the bolts for the exhaust manifold:) what do i need 2 do 2 get a new set of keys for it? can i just take the vin number into a lock smith or nissan 2 get the number for the key? imobiliser isnt a problem, played around enough with them to get around it

  17. shes an r33 5spd non turbo skyline on 17" ROH mags dont know wat year yet. needs a bit of wrk, its unregd atm. needs: bumper, lhs 1/4 pannel and door replaced may need lhs a piller pulled out spoiler sterio probably new tyres new grill new headlights rhs wing mirror replaced exhaust manifold replaced degresed get new keys made up windscreen return engine bay back to stock then it shld be ready for rego then its getting a turbo slapped on it and it will either replace my vt as my daily or il sell it iv already got turbo exhaust and intake manifolds aswell as oil lines so all i shld need is computer (which i may have aswell) so all i need is turbo, dump pipe, cooler and pipeing interior is prety clean although it has that import smell - needs black ice magic trees all for a nicly tidy sum il get more pics up 2morro arvo once it gets dropped off. any help would be apreciated, espectialy if you have parts for me lol. cheers
  18. g'day fellas my names jack, im from mandurah in wa and i just brought my 1st skyline 2 day:) iv bin a commodore boy for as long as i can remember, owning a couple of vl turbos - including a 13 second berlina 5spd turbo and i currently own a vt berlina 5psd and a vs exec aswel. into my bikes aswell, iv currently got an 88 honda cbr250r as for my skyline, shes an r33 rb25de. its currently unregisted but has been recently untill it was left on the side of the road. it needs a fair bit of work, il throw up a thread in the wa section in a bit as im going to be chacing alot of parts and needing a bit of advice since although i have done alot of work on rb series motors, i have never worked on a skyline. cheers
