  1. 1979 Torana - 202 stage 1 with a stage 2 cam (about 25/65), Genies, Holley, the usual stuff - M20 & about 3 or 4 diffs (kept braking them). - yellow with a black bonnet, hotwires (heheh) & no bumpers - plenty of camber 225s on the front, 185s on the back for dodgy dorifto Oz Style
  2. Noone wash your cars till after the Big Day Out I dont want to be running arund knee deep in mud tomorrow. .
  3. What time did the hail hit? My car was parked at home in the garage till about 7pm then outside at the lady's house. Just seeing if I should go & have a look for hail damage... Have seen hail hit my car hard enough to set off the alarm repeatedly for about 3mins & there was no damage so hopefully all is good.
  4. Was driving home along Canterbury Rd when the storm hit mid SW Sydney. No hail, but the wind was enough to rock the car around quite a bit at the lights. Unfortunately, rain/storms turn your averge Sydney driver into a dribbling idiot. Scenario: Wind whips large sheet of corrigated iron onto Canterbury Rd, blocking both lanes of westbound traffic (fortunately I was heading east). Cars, trucks & buses sitting there waiting for said piece iron to get off the road by itself. Sensible people (obviously not Sydney drivers) would spend 1 minute getting out of their car to move the offending roof material off the road... While not hindered by roof sheeting, the eastbound lanes where mostly populated by a race of people who believe that one must halve ones speed when travelling in the rain. WHY ARE PEOPLE SCARED OF THE RAIN?! Okay, knock a few km/h off, increase the distance between you & the car ahead, etc, but why the goddamn fargen 20km/h? For 15km? Jeez... Needless to say I got soused immediately after getting home. Hope whoever lost their roof didn't lose it off their house. .
  5. My R32 has the HICAS & rear ABS computers under the parcel shelf, as well as the factory amplifier for the rear speakers. Not sure if its the same for an R33.

  8. Mine is a '5 seater' being that it has 5 seatbelts but given the size of the car its more like a 2+2 I'm supposed to be taking 4 people camping soon... woe betide the three in the back seat for 4hrs

  10. Time to get well pissed. Without having to work tomorrow with a bloody hangover... Just finished my last day of work till the 10 of Jan! w00t! :alcoholic :alcoholic
  11. My condolances to their friends & families. Hope the brother pulls through. Its going to be a difficult holiday season for the families I used to pass this guy on Canterbury Rd occasionally on the way to & from work. Never seemed to be driving like a dick. The crash scene is about 200m from my work. Not a pleasent site to drive by. Be careful people...
  12. Hands up if you're hungover... being at work touches teh anus
  13. You have Type M wheels. Mine came with R33 wheels when I bought it, doesn't mean it had them from the factory though Almost (I repeat almost, not all) all R32's imported to Oz will be Type M's (or modified to be like M's). Actually, I think that Type Ms outsold the basic GTS-t when they were new. Funky could prob clear this up for us. rrrage, whats the diff between powersteering (hydraulic) powerd HICAS & hydraulic? Does the GTR/GTS-4 have a separate system/reservoir? I know that in the GTS-t the HICAS runs off the reservoir in the engine bay... My knowledge of GTR's suck teh arse
  14. I've got a brochure in jpg format but its mostly in Japanese
  15. The Type M was the GTS-t marketed at buyers who wanted a GTR but couldn't foot the bill. Hence it had: - the GTR style (but narrower) wheels - 4 spot brakes - digital climate - GTR style steering wheel AFAIK all the GTS-t's has HICAS & Viscous LSD whether they were M's or not The GTS Type S is the non-turbo equivalent to the Type M I've got an early 4dr Type M with the extra options of ABS, driving lights, projector headlights & electric front spoiler
  16. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=57780 His Xmas special ad...
  17. Toshi on the forums chips R32's on occasion & AFAIK can organise a time at a Dyno. Check the For Sale section for his ad
  18. Have had small things happen at events such as badging/scratching (drift event) & a random assortment of shyte left on my car (road signs, beer bottles, etc at the Summernats). If I think about the more serious stuff such as breakins & theft I would say UWS Kingswood Reso's carpark was terrible & Camperdown Memorial Park is bad for older/easier to steal cars. Theft attepts were made on my Torry & my nan's '82 323 while parked there.
  19. At any car event, drift, drag, show, etc. It seems where ever there are car enthusiests there will be a matching number of arseholes to fu(k with your car while its in the car park .
  20. The Sandringham on King St Newtown every Thursday for 2 years! Jugs = Rad Sobriety = Bad .
  21. All I can say is... 1985 Lancia Delta S4 - 1.8L 4cyl with a highly successfull turbo/supercharged/twin IC set up. mmmm... Group B
  22. Meh, most skyline owners will bag the Z. Having driven them I'd say that if it wasn't for them being a pain to work on I would have got one rather than my 'line. Standard, the Z feels faster & more stable in corners than any standard 'line I've driven. '206'kW (closer to 230 on an engine dyno), 390Nm at usable rpm, low centre of gravity, leather interior (on some), wide track, T-tops (on some), etc. Unfortunately, as said before, they will be more expensive to maintain & drink a bit more Ultimate than your average 'line
