Yeah ive been given some random quotes over the past week hey.

Well you guys have all been a great help.. I will see what posts come up over the week between now and Friday when it gets a check done by Hyperdrive. Looks like its a bits and pieces but Im not going to rule out buying it just yet, the vibration it has is a bit of a problem but if it costs under $500 to fix it then hey its worth the money.

VIN number and get someone to plug it into FAST .. Is FAST some sorta REVS Check thingo?

Ahh man.. Im worried now.. It must have at least one airbag because it says SRS airbag under the bonet, It also is dated as a 1996 build under the bonet. Cheers pozza, Im going to look into the 1995 and 1996 models a bit more..

I dont think it had a passengers side air bag. The dash and everything looks so damn clean.. almost looks new.. Its on a slight tilt towards the driver " the radio etc etc.. isnt that a series 2 design? Butler: Yeah? The front bumper isnt stock

Ok, well Ive put a small deposit down on this car pending a full check over next friday at Hyperdrive so im not 100% locked into getting this car however the price is VERY good its done 88'000kms, its manual and Its advertised as: GTST - MANUAL Series II M-Spec 1996 Now the front bumper/body kit was very badly damaged when he drove it up/down somebodys drive way "explains why its got a new one unpainted on the front" But its not a SII front at all is it?? Im attaching some picktures so you guys can ahave a look and let me know what you all think. Series 1. 1.5 or 2 * its advertised as II and I looked on his rego papers and it was registered as a Series 2.

Did they still make SI in 1996? Its go something writen under the bonet aswell about SRS airbag, the dash looked like SII but im not 100% sure, those photos arent the best sorry. Ken at Hyperdrive should be able to tell as soon as he looks at it next week I hope.

Well I looked on the blue plate under the engine bay and it was built in 1996 as far as what I could see.

* UPDATE I went for a drive in the car yesterday and the vibration isnt as bad as I expected.. infact it is drivable " Geshh its quick.... only slight mods aswell!! .. more on that later" The car drives like normal from 0 - 80km but after that it has a vibration go threw the entire car, its not a huge vibration but you can feel it. I dont think its the wheels.. Ive got a feeling its the UV joints.. well regardless I have booked it in for a full check over next friday with Ken at Hyperdrive. $180 is great value for someone who is experienced in Jap cars. Thanx go out to all you people who made me change my mind from a dodge RAC check. The next thing on the list is this: Its a 1996 GTST SII M-SPEC and have a look at the replacement front bumper he has put on it!! He put it on after the last one got damaged on his driveway.. Looks like a series one I thought..

I just booked the skyline that Im interested in buying in for a check over at Hyperdrive next friday, Its only $180 and from what Ken said on the phone it seems that they do alot more than an RAC check and that would have cost me over $250.

* I wouldnt have the Xbox come on all the time when the car is on.. Ive had alot of tvs / game systems in my cars in the past and it wouldnt be good, trust me.. Remember this.. The xbox needs good ventilation, they can and do get hot. Say its a 42deg day and your driving a long distance, 2 - 3 hours.. your xbox is going to hate you. RE: Zebbie thinking about his box running all the time. PS: I worked in a car audio shop for 4 years and trust me ive seen alot of fried PS2s N64s die because of this problem.. allways on.
