Ok, i've gotta break everything down as i read so that i'll understand.... lol I realise i don't NEED a big turbo for quick 1/4's and i realise the bigger the turbo, the more lag... that's all kool... which is why i only wanted a small increase. I am planning to put on a front mount before i up the boost so that's all good too... So does that mean i use a T28 exhaust side and an S14/15 compressor side?... or vice versa? what is the turbo on these silvias? T28 exh side = smaller = faster spool?... (need help in these areas)... And as RBsileighty said: I was actually planning the steel wheels etc to make more boost safer... So basically, instead of getting another turbo at all... i could just do the steel wheel job on mine, have it hi-flowed and run with that.... worth it? how much?

what's the difference between a Z32 T3 and an R32 T3? also, isn't the RB25 Turbo smaller? (this is what i understand from adove)?

Do I have to change the manifold for a T04? I don't really need anything too big so the TD06 might be out... i only want a little upgrade... how big of an upgrade would this be?... i'd prefer to be able to keep the stock manifold for now... GT2530 + 300zx T3 = int. wastegate?

Yeah... and the turbo's getting old too.... although i know it's still running perfect, it can't hurt to upgrade to a new one when i save some funds.... SO how much would i be looking at for a T04? then how much to install?... who should i talk to? ADVAN?

Hey guys... i said R32.... not 33. So, what i understand so far is: I already have a T3 on my R32 GTS-t (Trev). so what's a good upgrade then? or can i pull 12's with the stock?

Also, is a pin possible for this thread moderators?

What about that MCRacing? (MR CRX)... He advertises $1500 resprays for hot4's readers.... does he have this price for a charade then about twice that for anything bigger or what?.... anyone know? I want a respray too...

Ok everyone... It's starting to get a lil closer now.... I'd like to see a show of hands so i know how many of us there'll be... I beleive we'll be telling the police so they know why there's a big bunch of cars cruising around together (less trouble that way).... Alright... I wanna run about 19PSI in the future.... which i'm guessing means injectors, fuel pump, etc etc.... just though a T3 would be a good bolt on application.... so how much am i looking at for a bolt on turbo to suit over 19PSI?

Hi all, I am trying to chase a boot-lid for an R32 GTS-t with no spoiler (and no holes left by a spoiler)... If someone can point me in the right direction, that'd be awesome... cheers, Dave.

Hey guys... I am under the impression that R32 GTS-t runs a T28? If so, would a T3 be a straight bolt on? If so, how much boost can a T3 safely run?... How much am I looking at for a T3? How much for the conversion? Any other parts i need to plan for straight up? Are there people on this forum that can help me do the conversion ourselves (safely and for a small fee ofcourse)...? If none of the above can someone fill me in? Thanks heaps... Dave.

you have what is called a "provisional" liscence in NSW and maybee other states (p = provisional)... you go from a learners permit to "p-plates" to a full liscence (basically).... Every one wants a GTR, but that doesn't mean he is going to buy one for his first car.... but yeah, i can understand where you're coming from....

Yeah, true.... had mine since june and have sat infront of, behind, next to cops and not so much as a glare yet.... it's the driver really not the car.... Me and my mates found if you drove with your hat on backwards they'll target you.... never wear hats though so i'm safe....

Never said he wanted a Skyline, just asked what a good first car was that matched a certain criteria, cant see a request for a skyline in his post! They're not that expensive... compared to a civic etc, yes they're more expensive but something like an R32/33 GTS-t is relatively CHEAP! lets not go overboard here... For all you know he may want to take it on a skidpan or track once a month and learn to drift but can't afford 2 cars (1 to drive, 1 to drift).... I think your post was a little too harsh, with little thought, no offense man but I can see where he's coming from so let's all stop pretending we drive like grandma's on the road and that our tyres never ever break traction and that we're complete angels! we all know that that's just BS! the cops target us for a reason, don't like it BAD LUCK! all we can do is try and control ourselves and set an example for people like this person and instead of flaming them for asking a PERFECTLY REASONABLE question, support them and encourage them to be better than those other dickhead p platers out there..... NOTE: I am a P-PLATER and I DON'T drive like an angel, my skyline does do a squeel off the lights every blue moon... p-platers arn't all the same, so stop labelling young drivers....

I agree with what gtstii is saying here... 1-2 kw could be better gained by a good SOLID A/F ratio tune i reckon... rather than a fluctuating mod

benm: i was under the impression that in a RWD car you wanna run soft rears to put the weight on the rear tyres when launching so you can get away quick enough.... stiff suspension would just spin and cost time.... can someone elaborate and tell me whether i'm on the right track or not?... (no pun intended)....
