from a total n00bs view i would say the heatshield should be facing the top (the car) but i brandon i'd go see someone in the know who has experience, im sure someone here can recommend a joint, and get it checked out

just another thought too man, i think i saw 4 to 5 stud spacers on boost or ns dont know about the legalities and that kinda stuff - might be worth checking out if you are after a cheap option personally id leave it 4 stud and get some doriteks, but i guess it depends on where you want to go with your car - what style ur going for etc etc
