  1. Interested in the strut brace. What suburb? Ill see if i could get my bro to pick it up for me
  2. Interested in shocks and skirts. Where are you located? Are the shocks adjustable?
  3. Hey man my friend still wants the stuff, he'll come and pick it up just give him a call or give me your phone number and ill get him to call you
  4. Hey man, interested just give a call to my friend who wants it. His number is 04313 86012 thanx
  5. +1 for the turps and a rag then just go over with armor all and its a shiny piano black. Looks sick as, worth the hour or two
  6. Yeh not bad but havent got enough money at this point, need to ask parents permission too lol!
  7. Hmmm very intriguing but complicated for the untrained i.e. ME. So would it be a good idea to se the Apexi FC Neo to change the ratios so its leaner for lower rpms and richer for higher rpms? And can you also change your timing with the Apexi FC Neo? How do you match the timing to the mixtures so that your temperatures dont go / ?
  8. The previous owner of mine put in a K&N, so i reckon it probs a good idea to get rid of this. Btw someone told me that if you remove all those fins inside the air box you might get some more power and a bit of a whining noise.
  9. If anyone is still on here, does the resonator cause that shitty rolling noise from like 2500-3000?
  10. Yeh that sounds sweet as man, i dont want to get a muffler cause it might get annoying but that sounds heaps good only thing is that would clear out my entire bank account and my parents would anally rape me if i did.
  11. Far out man $1350? Looks sweet but i dont think its worth that much. All i did on mine was cut off the two stock tips, my bro got me 2 three inch stainless dumpers and welded those on. The was a butterfly flange thing for backpressure which makes it sound gay. Cut it off and now its really deep, purrs I dont wanna get an aftermarket one cause it might be too loud and cant hear my beats, plus the cops love em.
  12. Hey i got an N/A r33, on learners and i can tell you that my brother's BA XR6 Falcon is quite a bit faster and its auto/tiptronic. They're fairly quick i guess but they handle well(i would rape my brother round corners and he says it too) Its fast enough as a first car but if u wanna save and wait like another year or 2 and get an r32 thats probs a good idea too. If u got any questions u can always pm me.
  13. Yeh they got the paddle shifters. You did notice on the plate it said RB25DET? so obviously was turbo, if it was auto it has a seperate ecu for the gearbox just so u know. I was lucky enough to find an N/A r33, great handling, good first car, easy to work on and if you ever have problems thankfully the gods created SAU so u can find an answer. I paid $8500, with 18s, headunit but other than that stock with 150 000. If u got any other questions feel free to ask
  14. Yeh just my 2 cents, you could take your injectors out and take them somewhere to get cleaned and they'll replace the seals so you wont have to piss on your engine when it catches fire. If you do get the bigger injectors its pretty pointless unless you run a bigger turbo and if you runnin the normal CR then its not a good idea to do that either.
  15. I have a 1993 R33 GTS and i hadn't drivin it in about a month and i began hearing a strange ticking and knocking noise from the top of the engine. After some research and a drive i believed it was the injectors seeing as the car would loose power at 4500+. So i took the fuel rail out and had the injectors cleaned, while it was off i cleaned the plenum, which was time consuming to take off and put back on. After this i started the car and it seemed even worse, it almost died on idol and wouldn't go past about 2500, holding it at 2500 the revs would also fluctuate. So i replaced the fuel filter, O2 sensor(always smealt rich), resoldered the AFM, ran ECU diagnostics with no errors, checked all the coils for problems, cleaned them up (already sealed with silicone after previous missfiring on idol) and put in new plugs. After all this it still ran as rough as guts and i was frustrated, it seemed better but still had a weird noise. I was thought it may have been internal but decided to rev it a bit and let it run for a while and what dya know? Its better now. Thought i would just share my strange experience which cause me a bit of stress for a few days.
  16. Yeh i would also advise to take the bracket off which gives you alot more space. Also i found it was easy to get off by using the smallest flat head screw driver in the set and pushing the bottom of the hose away from the filter, breaking the seal, after this i just twisted and pulled off the hoses. Thanks for the thread too btw Just something i noticed was that my new Z200 filter looked like the one in your picture but my old Z200 looked more like the Z201 (shorter and fatter) and also had a nicer finish(like that of an oil filter)
  17. If anyone is still wondering, if you have only one led or none(uses the check engine light instead) two long flashes followed by one short flash means error code 21, ie long, long, short. So it is pretty much the same as if you have two LEDs.
  18. I've got an R33 GTS and ive got iridiums in it they're NGK BKR5EIX-11 but your looking at around $120 for a set, if you're still looking for the right ones.
  19. Money and a passion for your car = Power Of course you also need to do some research before posting problems on it and performance wise the possibilities are endless to make it fast.
  20. flux capacitor? Its not from the engine bay is it? Haven't seen anything like that in mine so....
  21. Hey, i, still 16 so in like two months i can get my P's and i've got an r33 GTS and it is a great first car. The HICAS four wheel stearing is great round corners, if you want to kick it out its not hard at all in the wet. Maintenance is fairly easy even though ive had a few small things to fix (coilpacks, radiator, injectors) small things that are basically consumable. Power wise its good, r33's have VCT so u get 147kw, i got rid of the valve on the muffler at the back and it sounds really deep without being loud so awesum. Got 18's and been lowered so far looks pretty good, tinted windows, some stickers, sub and neon in the boot, dual 3' dumpers and painted calipers. Theres heaps to do, whenever you have a problem just jump on here and find the answer, fast, great handling, look pretty good, just get a bodykit if your not happy with it. Supra wouldnt be bad but they got no boot (for the sub)but 3ltr so thats good but its got a distributor, coils way better! pm me if any questions
  22. I agree with mad082 on some of his points. First of all im a learner, got a non-turbo r33 and its great but there are things that you need to learn with experience, like how to control your car in the wet, if it starts sliding in the arse and so on. I attended a defensive driving course 2 days ago through school and they taught us skills which you do not learn in driving lessons, so in saying this it is advisable for EVERYONE to do some sort of driving course, but alone this lesson only enlightened me in advanced braking procedures and correct methods of turning the car. So even in doing these courses you still need more experience before allowed powerful cars. I have to admit i am a bit of a hoon and so more tracks would help in getting it outta my system. Just my two cents, eat it!
  23. That is a mega fail but thats americans for you! Thanks for the laugh
  24. Great thread for a start. For quite some time mine has been really rough when first starting it so ill have to clean the IAC. Since my last oil change and coilpack sealing, ive noticed that when at the lights, with the Air Con on the idle jumps up and down, stopped immediately after turning the A/C off. Jumped on here and found the fix, taken the AAC out but it got dark so tomoz im off to buy Carby cleaner. I havent yet seen how to clean the IAC but ill keep looking. Thanks again for a great job!

Bought it last year with 18s and ive done a few small mods. Im putting in "la cuccaracha" horn set this weekend so if u honk ill honk back.
