  1. The old boy is being a bit soft this time but I'll come up for a look and show some support for you Wes ;-) haha Looking forward to it
  2. Tuning day tomorrow, get excited people - at least think of us while you're at work (ouch) haha
  3. Hey anyone heading out to the tuning day Monday 2 July? Geoff's 33 GT-R will be running and a mate in a 180SX.
  4. Damn! Why aren't I hearing about all these bloody events lately? haha Had a good TUNING DAY anyway! haha The GT-R was really holding it's own today and sooooo much quicker with the new tyres. Was great to meet see some new people out there today and looking forward to the next one ;-)
  5. Awesome Gav, see you tomorrow!
  6. Hey gang Anyone coming to the next track day this Tuesday 5 June?? The old boy is going to give the GT-R a run on the new R888 tyres, should be good. I will be on camera duties so I can get some good vids for anyone interested? ;-) Unfortunately the blue beast will be out of the action until the end of the year so I'll focus on giving Geoff a hand with the GT-R and work on my camera skills in the mean time. Keep in touch and hope to see some skylines out there on Tuesday!
  7. Pretty much every common mod has been done - only thing missing is forged internals. The head has been off and the motor has had some attention but I'm not sure on the full details. Off the top of my head; Jun 265 cams, 700cc injectors, HKS GT-SS turbos, upgraded fuel pump, water pump, all the usual stuff, ali radiator, upgraded fuel rail, modified oil plumbing and catch can etc Full intake upgrade and race exhaust - 3.5" straight out of the turbos with varex EVC muffler (changes from a monster note to as quiet as a stock skyline at the touch of a button) AP racing front brake upgrade with 343mm rotors (I think), HKS fully adjustable coil overs, adjustable camber kit, 18 x 9.5" wheels and as of tomorrow Toyo R888 tyres
  8. Fantastic day guys! Shame about the short track time due to big turn out but that's to be expected on a Saturday early in the season, and everyone seemed to have a great time anyway. Great to catch up and also meet some new faces today. Nice work Aaron, good to meet you. My GoPro vid's came out unreal today - had it mounted next to the exhaust looking back - hate to blow my own trumpet but it sounds bloody angry for a low mount RB25 =) Big videos and struggling to upload but should get 1 up on youtube by tomorrow ;-)
  9. Andrew didn't have time to re-tune mine but it's fine the way it is - just not quite making the numbers I want haha My lower boost setting that I use on the track is still about the 330rwhp mark so not too bad. On a massive posotive note, dad's GT-R blew us all away! 472whp @ 19PSI =) And that's with some top end issues - it's not holding power after 7000RPM - not too sure what the go is yet as time was lacking so we couldn't look too far into it and we were happy with the result anyway. It's got a safer tune now and runs sweet so that's the main thing.
  10. Anyone else coming out tomorrow? Even just for a look? I haven't heard from many people this time
  11. Lookin forward to catchin up again Wes! The Skylines are in for a re-tune tomorrow ;-) Finally see what numbers the GT-R is actually making.
  12. Uploaded a few vid's on to the youtube account - you can watch them on my channel; "SCR34MER444"
  13. Good stuff. Yeah got a few with the GoPro's but they are massive in size so it's too much of a mission to upload them on the net. Got some good previous vid's of me and the old boy which I'll put up when I get time. Look forward to meeting you Goran.
  14. The Blake boys plan to be out at the next tuning day coming up 19th May with 2 freshly re-tuned skylines ;-) Should focus on that one first eh fellas? Be good to get a clan of skylines running together - The family/friends will be out with the video cameras aswell so will be good to get plenty of RB action if a few others come out. Cheers, Brendan
  15. Ok first up, Paul: I owe you a massive apology - did not even click when my father and I met you today! haha All this time I've been looking forward to meeting you and I was away with the fairys at the track when the opportunity had risen! Pretty funny considering I'd been looking through your build profile and then didn't even recognise the car today, EVEN WHEN I SAT IN IT TO HELP YOU BLEED THE BRAKES haha Ahh well, shame about your brakes mate. The old boy and I had an awesome day battling it out with each other. Made for some awesome video footage, inlcuding my classic moment spinning in to the paddock (no thanks to the fluid spilt on the track) My 34 was far quicker than ever today thanks to the new brakes, suspension and wheels/R888 tyres, which helped keep up with dads 460awhp beast a little better. Look forward to catching up with you boys and the RB toys again soon. Cheers, Brendan
  16. Yep definitely goin ahead and had confirmed. Can't bloody wait! Look forward to meeting! Geoff has a silver R33 GT-R and I'm in a blue 34 GT-T
  17. Hi all Tuning day this Monday 23 April 8am - 5pm Me and the old boy will be up there trying to give each other a whopping after the extremely long awaited track renno's (modded 33GT-R and a modded 34GT-T) Any one keen to come out for a wrap or just for a look, let us know. Should be an awesome day ;-) Cheers, Brendan
  18. Good compilation Richard! Not sure if it's just my computer, but there was a wierd echo effect happening when I watched the youtube vids??
  19. Assuming maps will be available on the day? Was hoping to get the old man and his 33GT-R out for a wrap but he's still got it off the road :-/ If I can get organised in time, I'll bring the 34 out.
  20. Give me a buzz Wes and we'll organise a time for you to come around. New wheels sound exciting! I should be free tomorrow. Maybe you and Richard can meet up here then and we'll do the videos. Stoked about the website pic's haha
  21. Hey Richard Excellent to meet you last night and your car was everything I expected except I think the noise was even more "eargasmic" haha Possibly the best sounding car I have ever heard! I ended up getting down to 13.4 but I couldn't agree more with you mate - I was running extra boost/horsepower with way better tyres than last time and I only beat my pb by 0.1 of a second :-( Got some absolutely awesome videos of all of us thanks to my mate with my video cam. Even got footage of your best run and even the run u and I had together in which our cars sound f**kin amazing roaring off together ;-) Richard and Wesley: I'm having trouble getting the vid's in a state to e-mail through or to upload so if you's would like to come around to my place in Cloverdale, we can put the vids on your thumb drive or perhaps I can make up a dvd to give to you if yas want? Wes: I got your 12.3 sec run too ;-) Not sure if you ended up quicker than that? Look forward to catching up with you's in the near future. It's good to know there is some more moddest and mature blokes out there with skylines ;-) Bring on the track work again I say! Cheers Brendan
  22. Yep. Sweet I'll be there just after 6.
  23. What time everyone planning on getting there? Should grab a few pit bays together before the first run to dump tools and shit? This is probably a good way to meet and greet for those that don't know each other too.
  24. Hell yeeeeeeaaaahh! baha I am all about making RB noise my friend ;-) I'm hoping you fellas will be impressed with my new exhaust set up - It's the loudest non GT-R I've heard without an external waste gate.
  25. Well I've raised the rear height and it's on the softest setting but it's still pretty stiff so see how it goes. I already had a bilstein sports kit which I've just replaced and that was a pretty good set up so I don't think there will be a huge difference with the race kit.
