  1. Mods Question has been answered delete if you want. But just for anyone else it clears but ribbing comes close on crossmember and you must take as much away from the diff side where it protrudes as will come close there too cheers :-)
  2. Hi guys not sure if this is in the right spot but im converting my r31 to a 26 and i was Just wondering if anyone knows if the Stock sump after being modified to RWD clears the crossmember and sway bar in a r31?? Cheers guys
  3. I'll stick with hyperdrive even if it's out of my way i can't recommend them enough but that's just me I'm sure there's plenty of other good workshops as Bevan has suggested..
  4. Cheers Bevan also you have to get custom top hats for the rears to fit up properly but yeah garage7 should be able to sort ya out
  5. Yes that's correct mate check out GARAGE7 they're in S.A. Ask for Decs they do custom tierod end adaptors and specialize in r31's
  6. No limits and wascc
  7. It was an accident I was reading this from my Phone didnt realise it was three pages and I only read the 1st page and thought f*** poor guy! hence my post.. Anyways shit happens atleast I tried to be helpfull ?glad to hear its all been figured out ?
  8. Hi mate it sounds like you have been given the cold shoulder by everyone once they have taken your money unfortunately.. You have got alot of good gear there so try not to get too diss-heartened you just gotta figure out whats working and not working just stick with it mate you have gone this far now.. Just a few questions and I'm not by any means saying this is the problems just trying to help problem solve or maybe take some possibilitys out of the equation for you.. You say that... Rb30det cp pistons (dish tops) (85psi per cylinder) & 4. big oil breathing issue. Return fitted to the back of head to sump to fix prob.. I would be asking why the compression is so low and what is causing the big oil breathing issue? Could it not be because there is too much blow by past the rings causing too much crankcase compression therefore giving a low 85psi compression and pushing way to much oil up top? But in saying that when the compression test was done was the motor cold or at normal operating temperature because don't forged pistons expand slightly as they get upto temp? which means if it was cold then maybe you would get a better compression figure if it was at normal temperature? Also if you have too much blow by wouldnt this cause the plugs in affected cylinders to fowl as you wouldn't be getting a good clean burn/combustion of fuel and air in the cylinders? How old is the oil in the motor Is it fresh but turned dark and smelling heavly of fuel already?? What does it look and smell like and if u wipe a bit off the dipstick onto your finger and rub with your thumb and finger does is feel gritty or grainy?? Like I said I'm not saying these are the problems and I'm just trying to throw a few ideas out there to hopefully help you sort it out or atleast narrow down the problem
  9. Arrr that one I can't help with sorry mate but I'm sure if you look in the sa section there should be a list of garages in there? or ask the sa guys they will soon tell you
  10. Thanks guys i was under the same presumption much appreciated guys Cheers sime
  11. Hi Mate welcome what mods if any are on the car at the moment? And what are your intentions with it.. As in Will you be using it as Just a daily driver, or a daily With some light track work Every now and then, or lots of track work etc etc?? But assuming its Stock and going to be driven daily i would invest in a good panel filter for airbox like a K&N or something, buy some decent shocks and springs, get a good set of brake pads and fluid, buy after market dumps, front pipe and exhaust get an electronic boost controller and invest in a power fc, nistune, vipec basically something that you can get it tuned and the boost slightly raised should be happy a d entertained for awhile.. but at the end of the day matey its your car you should do what ever makes you happy :-) Throw some pics up Cheers sime
  12. Hi guys can anyone clarify if there was any difference With suspension and driveline other than the transmission oil cooler? Cheers Šime
  13. Hi Wes its good to make another sau friend, thankyou again for a no non-sense sale was Great to meet you and hopefully catch up With you soon.. Highly recomend Wes very genuine and doesnt bullshit! Very easy to deal With and honest... Very good bloke

  14. I agree with you all and appreciate everyones opinions its a very tricky thing with rare limited number collector cars and unfortunately alot of them have been played around with or blown up etc etc before people who appreciate them for what they truely are get a chance to own them... Unfortunately i didnt have the luxury of having a completely un-modified perfect original condition ADM.. I certainly wouldnt do anything that could not be reversed all parts on the car have been replaced with Quality jap name brands not cheap chinese rubbish and no short cuts have been taken like bodgy cooler piping and holes cut and wiring hacked up etc... I feel ive advertised my ADM somewheree close to the ball park considering it is not standard and the condition of body and the fact i do need to sell her in the next month and a half but again what do you guys think is it to much to ask?? Thanks again for all the constructive opinions much appreciated guys Sime
  15. The paint work and body is starting to show its age and could really do with a respray to make it look 100% perfect but mechanically it is A1.. It does not have the original motor in it at the moment as i have been rebuilding it but it will be sold with the car regardless! All work has been and is always done by X-speed.. Hanson, Ant and Richard know the car very very well and it's had a extremely long service history with them! they have done a absolutely outstanding job and are the only people i lrt touch the car.. Ive always been very happy and highly recommend them.. My close friend a doctor who was the third owner is good friends with Hanson so always got everything done at X-speed and i am the fourth owner and have also follwed suit between the two of us we have got reciepts for everything and i can say the amount of money thats been poured into maintaining and modifying this GTR is incredible as most of you with GTR's would already know between myself and my friend we have almost the whole cars history as he knew the 1st two owners also doctors before he bought it. And has owned for almost 10 years before I bought it.. Ive owned for i think roughly 2 years and have hardly driven it! The car was originally bought from Barbegellos then 1st owner sold it back to them and second owner bought it from barbegellos obviously and so on there's alot of original books/paper work, receipts, stock and spare parts, performance parts and most importantly History on this car.. Unfortunately the only reason I'm letting her go is because I'm leaving W.A. And will not becoming back to live here :-(
  16. James that red metallic pearl one with white wheels on car sales is mine
  17. Cheers for your input Marko unfortunately when i bought mine the original motor was in pieces and the worst thing I hate the most is either the 1st or 2nd owner decided to put bonnet pins on which i cant really change easily so I've just left them for now Arrrrrr!!! But anyhow a very very low km totally stock 1994 r32 gtr cut was sourced and this motor has been put in whilst I've been taken my time over the years to build the original motor with HKS and JUN internals and no expenses spared all machine work has been done and just waiting on some gaskets to finish assembling but there's all this hype about Ozzie gtr's being ruined and worth nothing an I dont want to do that to mine.. I had the same feeling as you that if it is done professionally and clean and can be returned to stock easily and no holes cut drilled or wiring hacked up things should be ok but as for original motor I figured it needs to be rebuild so it's not going to be original internally so may aswell make it strong and reliable and last aslong as possible.. But wasn't sure if this is something that people would frown upon or not..
  18. What are your guys thoughts on modifying Aus spec gtr's ( SENSIBLY which are done in a way that it can be returned to stock form ) and how much of an impact do you think it has on re-sale value? Also with the original motor do you guys think its a sin to rebuild them with HKS and JUN forged internals or do you think once it has to be rebuilt its not original anymore so it doesnt matter??
  19. Cheers mate, Yep the bare block will definately go with It.. But if the interested party wants all the rest of the parts etc then a deal will be worked out
  20. Sorry Marko i wish i could keep her and hopefully one day get to enjoy it but unfortunately i cant at this point in time :-( Yes all stock parts except the airbox unfortunately i never got this when i bought the car.. Bit of background on this car the original motor is not in the car and wasnt when i bought it due to oil pump failure etc.. But i managed to get the motor in pieces.. The original motor is now in the process of being rebuilt with hks internals and is almost finished... A totally dead stock very low km 1994 r32 gtr half cut was sourced by and installed by Xspeed and all work and tuning was carried out at Xspeed Which the boys did a fantastic job and im very happy with there efforts and workmanship! It was also tuned to a very very safe conservative and reliable 439.3hp at 16psi and tuned for more torque and response as opposed to peak hp by Ant who did a great job!!.. If i put the stock parts and original motor back in or i sell them with the car i will be asking ALOT more than what i am now... This price is very cheap for what it is and im unfortunately selling because i want to follow my carreer and i have got more important things to worry about than stressing about the car being safe, paying rego, insurance and storage on the car that i dont get to see or drive very often at all... As Said before its a reluctant sale and i know it will be worth alot more money as time goes by and i want it to goto someone who will appreciate it as much as i have and give it the respect it deserves...
  21. Any reasonable offers would like it to go to a good home soon it just sits in storage costing me money...

  25. Yep that sure is my adm unfortunately i have made the decision to let her go but only to someone that knows what they are about and will give her the respect and care she deserves even though its not something i particularly want to do but at this point in time i have too And as above the gtr badge on the bonnet caught my attention straight away good work on the photo's i can imagine they wouldve been quite difficult with the surroundings and crowds but none the less the gtr looks to be in fantastic condition but any ideas on how many owners or did i miss this out somewhere
