  2. http://img6.imageshack.us/i/imag0273r.jpg/ Hopefully that link works. My steering is a bit sloppy lately, my mechanic said my steering bushes were cracked. I think he mentioned radius arms. I'm guessing its these ones in the pick. Iv read some threads already but want to be sure I have tthe right part. Does anyone know the aftermarket name or part number for these bushes to be replaced. 350z item work ? Cheers
  3. yeah there was 2 little plastic immobiliser tags.. i don't remember any numbers on them tho... they were removed when i had the new alarm put in.. i think i know where they are tho.. if i have them tags will i need to get this code from Japan that everyone's talking about?? im getting lost now? i thought the tags were metal with a code on them?? or are these plastic ones that were on my keys something different?
  4. nah dont have the tag/code.. sorting that out would be the same process as the normal keys tho?
  5. this is what my key looks like.. (only Key) will this style make it easier/cheaper to have a duplicate made?? or same shit different bucket? cheers
  6. its not word of mouth.. its personal experience i read from the guys on g35driver forum
  7. mines the same. pretty stiff for stock suspension compared to any other car iv owned.. but i like it i have noticed mine has the factory "sports suspension" in it tho. (red coloured struts)
  8. anyone have some springs they want to sell? see my first post above
  9. id do the swap.. its your car not your girlfriends.. if she dosnt like it tell her to ride her bike to town. if not, shoot me the evo details and ill swap
  10. mine only ever kicks in if i get some under steer . but just wanted to check if there was any options i could try when i was there if i had any issues LSD makes a massive differnce to how it works from what iv read.. the open diff models seem pretty dangerous
  11. anyone wanna get on board with a group buy from the states.. and split postage? iv bought a few things from infinity over there. could possibly "G" something up.
  12. what you mean by cycling of the key??
  13. reason i ask is iv got a skid pan day coming up. normal driving its never an issue
  14. hey chris, how would one contact nissan ? ----------------- once i haev a key and code, how much are peopel paying nissan to recode it for you?? thanks
  15. from what i read on teh g35driver forum, my understanding was you need to use the 350 sturts/shocks along with the springs.. not just the springs with the 35 struts/shock.. due to travel lengths and blowing the ass out of the 35 shocks over time from being to low.
  16. what are teh differnt setting for the VCD button?? iv heard theres a few differnt options available depending how many times you push it or hold it down? thanks
  17. i fill mine up around the 500to530km mark (i set the odometer every time i fill up) which is about 30km after the light comes on. and usually put in around 60 to 64liters. the tanks are 20gal (75L) so theres still 10L to go. at 12km per L = 120km left
  18. u must drive it like a fairy then. cos they ping on low octane. g35drive all the treads if read they all use/recommend high octane (especially in manuals). owners manual say to use it. AFAIK not using it voids warranty?(stand to be corrected tho) not that it matters now cos there all out of warranty
  19. nice way to kill the engine.. if you ever get up it with 91 it will ping the shit out of the engine. i get 550km to a tank on BP ultimate in mine. id suggest finding out what the problem is instead of a bandaid fix by using shit fuel. PS who even uses shell these days anyways. there the worst
  20. your stating defects in workmanship, not the product. EXACT same system, performance of stainless vs steel is what im talking about. not high end stainless vs steel system made up by barry in his shed after a case of VB. why would you heat wrap your cat back system??? mild steel lasting "only a few years"? hardly. but yes, obviously it wont last as long as stainless. most people would usually sell your cars on long before it would be an issue. plus if your a keen modder, your probably making changes here or there, which may require changing it anyway before its an issue anywho, ill agree to disagree
  21. paint a. A liquid mixture, usually of a solid pigment in a liquid vehicle, used as a decorative or protective coating. stainless makes good power? better than mild steel? could you give me some stats on how it makes more power then a mild steel system?. a custom hand made one would tuck up just as much, if not better then an off the shelf item.thats why its called custom made... it wouldn't be custom if it didn't suit the car it was being made for exactly no not at all, cos i didn't pay excessively for a full sick brand name one obviously if theres reason such as methanol, then thats a reason... my question was biased on the average every day driver EDIT: im not trying to ague the point, just curios as to why i would want to pay the extra other then "cos its stainless" or "cos its [brand name]", when u can get something made locally that will perform exactly the same
  22. note being defensive, just the only reason iv been given so far is "cos its stainless". i was after a reasonable reason that one would pay the extra
