Quote "In Oakleigh, a burnout left more than just rubber on the road for a 19-year-old female from Maryknoll. Her keys were left with a tow truck when she was caught in the early hours of the morning on Warrigal Road." I think i saw this one friday night, i was parked in front of kfc, when whoever was driving failed to spin the wheels while doing a u-turn and lost it! fail!! (i rekon other sau peeps saw this happen on friday night, saw a couple around that area, and also the ute losing it and crossing up towards the petrol station, didnt get caught but)

That is so true... You should see how many times police has gone closely around my car at these random breath tests and they go "Hey mate, im gonna give you a fine and 3 demerit points for not displaying youre back P plate, give me your license and just hold on a sec", Then I say, "Hold on, go to the back, look at my car but this time look at the boot and not the window" answer ussually is "Ohhh, here is your license go, you can drive off"... The only time i got an apology from a police officer was when he was recording our conversation... And it was for the same thing, didnt look at the boot for the p plate!

Plenty of cars running already, normally from divy vans on the HWY... I even remember once a white mitsubishi GTO (must of done something at noble maccas), took off, passed me and a couple other white colored cars in front, pushed thru the pack, then lights off and into some resisdential street, seconds later a divy comes up with its light on hammering to catch up with the car but looks around the pack, jumps behind a white supra (must of thought they looked the same at night) and pulls him over into that kabab joint further up... I didnt know any of them, just hoped that the supra didnt get mistaken for the other driver and got his car impounded! But the penalties for running arnt that great compared to excessive speeding, I know dumb people that have ran a couple times, got caught, cop a 3 year (or less) license suspension in court, appeal it, and get 1 year or less! Sh*t system really
  9. Hey! Looks like no one has posted this up so hopefully I will be the 1st... Saw this yesterday going down Springvale Rd... And there was another one on a sign in the area... (Close to Burwood Hwy) Anyone know what they are there for?
  10. ^^ That is true, i called up once vic roads and they said get a full licensed person with you when you drive a manual car if you have your "auto" P's and get a sign saying "Driver under instruction"... Then i asked, "So can i drive my brothers SS which is manual with the plates" he didn't know the answer, and told me he was gonna call me back... No answer yet!
  11. True I'm trying to sell mine, well maintained with brakes, rotors, tyres near new, and for a reasonable price (14k ono with RWC, rims, sound, etc..)... I really dont want to convert it, but it has gone thru my mind a couple times since its hard to sell... The N/A market is only for P Platers, and around 90% of them want dirt cheap imports, that is, they dont care about the state they are in, just that they can then brag on fb they they drive a skyline... 8/9k was my latest offer, question is, would selling it for this price and buying a not so trashed GTT be worth it instead of a conversion? (we talking about 3/4k if not more to play around)
  12. My case is being treated with SP Hardy! Easy to comunicate, Fast and effective with his stuff, tells you how it is upfront (Chances, etc...), only charges what is genuine to the case (Not stupid minor things that add up to big bucks)... I recommend him!
  13. Cant remember exactly... Give Nissan a buzz
  14. It was hard for me to buy brake pads for my R34 25GT other then from nissan... everywhere i went they cross referenced me to the GTT rotors and brakes... then they matched up my brake pads with some mitsubishi 4x4 (really similar)... i ended up going to nissan (paid a bit more) because i couldn't be stuffed handling with incompetent people, I would of ended up punching them (I was sent to 4 different repco's to pick up the wrong parts all in one day)!
