  1. Ive got a chinese turbo (supposed to be one of the better brands). Its the equivelant size to a GT3582 turbo, i had this on my Gtr briefly. The car went on the dyno and tuned and then i decided to go a different turbo so it was taken off shortly after. Its obviously good condition as i hardly used it. I also had the front cover polished. Price im looking for is 600 ono. Please send PM me as i cant answer the phone while im at work. Thanks
  2. I usually use a glove, too hard to get anything else down there.
  3. Having a look through my reciepts and everything from my little folder for my 32 gtr and there is this big pile of invoices of some sort or all different amount and im just curious as to what/where they are from or if theyre just some sort of rego papers. I had a search but could not find any topics that related to this so i apolagise if there is another topic that already covers this.
  4. I believe this has just been found, dont know what sort of condition it is in though.
  5. Anyone know if this is just nsw or if its Australia wide?
  6. Id go with bendix ultimates. Ive just changed to them from trw pads and they stop heaps better, although can be a little squeeky under real light braking or heavy braking but that might go away a bit as ive only had them in for about a week. They are about as dusty as the trw's but the dust is grey and a little less noticeable compared to the ugly brown dust that the trw's throw out.
  7. Autoglym rapid detailer is pretty good too, smells like bannana's also. Like Greens said there must be a good polished/waxed surfaceto start with, not really any "quick fixes" when it comes to cleaning a car properly.
  8. This thread is a classic . Once when i was driving my torana i was at a servo and was abused by some 40 year old saying my car was shit and a girls car and all this, he was driving a yellow hyundai getz, something pretty tough to compare with obviously. He then received abuse from me and at least 2 other drivers at the servo at the same time. Another thing i enjoy is when p-platers in old 5-litre commodores proceed to tailgate me when im driving my gtr and i shower them in black smoke after fueling up in traffic brings a smile to my face. Probably the most common question i get asked is, whats its top speed?
  9. Not just targeting ebay items, greddy or which ever are they worth the money or are they just overkill unless your really trying to make big power.
  10. Just wanted to know what peoples opinions are on aftermarket manifolds that are floating around for the rb26. Something like This claims to increase power by 15% on a standard engine which i find hard to believe. Do these actually make any difference or are they just a waste of money?
  11. http://www.ultraauto.com.au/HID-Xenon-Kits/35W/Virtual-Daylight/virtual-daylight-xenon-kits-slim Theres a link to the kit, only thing we've found better than these are the philips hid kits which are crazy prices like 500 or there abouts.
  12. see if you can find a dealer for the brand 'ultra' hid kits. Ive get a set of h3c's to put into my 32 gtr. The Ultra "virtual daylight" ones are the best we've found that we sell. They retail for about 300-350 for the kit.
  13. My 32 gtr 1989 takes a H3C globe not a h1 for low beam. So maybe the older of the r32's take the h3c?
  14. Heres a couple of pics from a car show we had at work on the weekend. Can see the fitment of the back wheel here They fill the guards nicely and arent rediculously large.
  15. Alrighty got rear guards rolled today and rims and tyres are now on. The look is growing on me, its more of a tough race sorta look which i do not mind at all. I had a look at the coilovers while i had the wheels off and they rears were already wound all the way down and i only had about an inch to play with at the front. Teins and there poor adjustability . Lowered the front slightly and it doesnt sit too bad. Once i get the camber and everything done it should look sick. No problems at all fitting the rears inside the guard, seems to be enough room. I havent gona around any corners or anything fast yet so i shall find out maybe tommorrow. Ill also get photos up tommorrow for those who would like to have a look.
  16. I agree hank , shouldve gone 235 haha. I suppose at some point you have to choose whether you want looks or handling, there cant really be both to a certain extent. As long as i can make it look tough im happy.
  17. Thanks mate i will have a look and probably adjust accordingly to those specs because i do want the handling of it to be as good as possible. I was speaking to a track guy yesterday and he reckons i should probably get adjustable camber and caster stuff for the front too to get it all right, which i think i might do because i wouldnt mind doing some track days in the near future.
  18. Theyre called nitto invo's. Test fitted these today and im unsure whether i like them or not , car needs to be lowered...alot looks like a 4wd under the side skirt. Thoughts suggestions?
  19. Recieved a set of these today, hopefully have tyres mounted tomoro and guards rolled saturday
  20. I shall, tyres should come this week and guards rolled next weekend . Cant wait.
  21. Wont be running too much lower than it is at the momen which isnt very low. Getting the guards rolled so should fit, even if i do need more camber to stop the scrubbing it wont be very much at all. Have ordered some nitto invo's and im pretty sure they have a pretty decent sidewall and i dont drive it often so wear wont be a massive issue. But if i dont have to run more camber to fit them i wont, if they dont rub at all i wont even put the adjustable arms in.
  22. I read 245/40 on another forum and ordered tyres before the reply. But even if they rub i have adjstable camber rods for the rear anyway.
  23. Oh sweet sounds promising. Ive ordered some 245/40/18 and ive also booked it in to get the rear guards rolled and ive got some rear adjustable camber arms to go in just incase . Thanks for your advice. Blake
