the wastegate is set at 15-16 psi.
i just want a low boost and a high boost setting...
and i sont have a hand controller so im not too sure on it
didnt know it was possible with a pfc
Hi all,
i have a power fc to run my rb30det and just need to know some stuff regarding boost...
daily i would like to run 7psi, with a switch to 18psi for when i want to have some fun...
can the power fc handle the switch between boost changes?
or should i sell up and get a different computer?
thanks
if you have a rb30et bottom end the compression is going to be far too low. u will need to put NA pistons in it to make it the goods...
so far my rb30det has cost me on the engine alone (turbo, ecu, intercooler, exhaust)
$7000
bottom end has been rebuilt using casties....
rods and stock and so are pistons - just cast coated... i only want 250rwkw, and i will keep it under 6000rpm... budget buildup
daily driver...
std cams....
rb25det head
the tubo should come on a bit earlier then... but atleast its a steady increase and pull til redline... hopefully it should help with keeping traction
I cannot read dyno charts so im not too sure where i would be looking
Engine is a rb30det. 3", front mount, power fc and the turbo will be a kkr 480
can anyone maybe plot on the rb25 with kkr 480 graph where it should be with my setup?
or when i should start boosting and reach max boost?
just estimations...
thanks
they are series 1 plugs....
wow... didnt think you could get 500kw from them...
i think i will coat them in some kind of insulator and see how they go - if not i will have to get some spit fires (spelling?).
Hi all,
have a rb30det which will need tuning shortly.
its got a Power fc ecu..
Which tuner would you recommend?
im located near hurstville and the only 2 i know of are
C & V performance - Taren Point
Ricol Automotive - Peakhurst
if its not a nasty XY or XS power turbo i may consider it...
just nwo that there are cheap unidentifiable turbos flooding the market it makes it alot harder for people to buy and sell as they dont know specifics...
