  1. Yeah there's a shiny half on the end of the cam that I'm obviously assuming is where it has snapped off. I've lined it up a million times now but still nothing. I'm starting to think I've bought a dodgy Cas sensor.
  2. Well I tried to get it started today and have had no luck whatsoever. I'm not sure if the motor is full of fuel now or the spark plugs are too wet to fire but it just doesn't want to start. Really confused on what to do right now.
  3. Thanks for the help guys. Doing a bit of research it seems that a lot of people have made the same mistake as me by not spacing the Cas out from the cam. I'll try different Cas positions tomorrow and hopefully I can get it started.
  4. Ok disregard my last comment. Just had another play around with it and it seems like it's going in more than one way. I'll have another play around with it and see if I can get it right. Thanks
  5. Thanks for the help mate. I've tried putting the cas on about 10 times everytime ensuring that it was going in right and still nothing. Even with the new Cas I bought, the cam has still got just enough of a lip on it so that the Cas only goes in one way. I might try put the cover back on instead of using washers to space it and see if that does anything. If that doesn't help then I'm clueless.
  6. Oh and I've tried using the old Cas that I suspected was damaged but still same result
  7. I was working on my R32 GTR and thought it would be a good idea to leave the cam cover off. Well I started it and all was fine until I noticed that the bolts on the cam gear were interfering with the Cas. I immediately shut the engine off and removed the Cas to find it very hard to turn and noticed the half circle from the cam had snapped off. Anyways I bought a new Cas and aligned the cas to the cam 100% correctly and now the exhaust pops but won't start at all. I'm assuming the timing is out but have no idea how this could happen. What do I do to get my car running again? Please help if you have an idea. Thanks
  8. Haha yeah I'm getting pretty serious about losing all the unnecessary weight in my car. Have already removed all the hicas, air con and all unused wiring from the wiring harness. sound deadening will be next to go. every little bit helps haha. Hks timer is sold pending payment clearance
  9. Hey guys, I'm selling my nistuned R32 GTR ECU. It was removed in perfect condition to make way for an ECU that could run map sensors for my single turbo. The back cover has been removed as shown in pics so you will have to re-use your existing back cover on it. Asking for $500ono including postage Australia wide. Located in Perth Thanks
  10. Yep would work on your R33. This type will work on all Nissans for that matter. I had it on my R32 GTR for about 18 months and 5000kms. Never had any problems with it on my car. Only removed it and the turbo timer because I'm stripping my car to lose as much weight as possible. It's designed to stop the motor from leaning out when it hits limiter and provides a great launch control as you can adjust it to your desired launch rpm and it builds boost whilst you're free revving. Really easy to install if you have basic mechanical and soldering skills. I can link you to install instructions if you'd like. Hope this helps
  11. Hey guys, I'm selling a Bee*R rev limiter and HKS Type 1 Turbo Timer. Both have very little use and is in as new condition. Will post either item for $10 Australia wide. I'm located in Perth and am after $140 for the turbo timer and harness and $200 for the Bee*R. Thanks
  12. Yeah that's the problem I had. I was going to go through them but it doesn't look like they sell the PSS9s for the R32 model. The TVH does list the 32 model but it's all in a different language. I've sent them both an email so hopefully I get a reply.
  13. Thanks for the link. I managed to get the part number off there. Just tried ordering off the TVH website but the german language has thrown me off. I've emailed them so hopefully I'll get a response on how to order. Good to hear they're going well. I can't wait to replace my teins in the gtr
  14. Do they make these to suit R32 GTR? Im looking at buying a set for my car and can't see any for the 32R on the site. These are great for the price. Cheers for sharing
  15. Sorry this has been SOLD to me.
  16. Yes but be quick otherwise I'm just going to install it when I get my car ready.
  17. Haha I had it in my mind to mention in the original post that I'm not interested in keeping the stock BOVs, forgot to put it in there when I was typing it up. I just don't want to use the standard BOVs anymore.
  18. Hey guys, Going to be getting a Greddy BOV for my 32 GTR, just wanted to know which spring to order with it as there is two options available; stiff and normal spring. I will be pushing about 25 or so psi with a T04Z and looking at 550+ hp at the wheels. Thanks
  19. I'll take it for $1700 posted. PM me if you're happy with that and I'll take it. Thanks
  20. Thanks for your insight. Very helpful.
  21. Would spark cut be easier on an oil pump than fuel cut?
  22. As topic title states, I have a pair of brand new Tomei Poncams Type B to suit R32 and R33 GTR. Looking for $650. Located in Perth. Will post at buyer's expense. Thanks
